The town of Shirley requires that any residents who live within a 1-mile radius of the post office have a PO box, and packages will not be delivered to your home if shipped through USPS or FedEx SmartPost.  They also make absolutely no attempt to help with orders that cannot be sent to a PO box.  They will return the package immediately.  I have had multiple packages intercepted by the post office and immediately returned to the sender without any attempt to contact me or accommodate their own ridiculous policies by placing the package in my PO box.

One lady that worked at the front desk did not put any effort into helping me whatsoever. She made me feel very uncomfortable and I was not able to leave with my items. Not a good experience at all.
