Rude Office Staff, I was asked by my primary to call the office and be seen before flying next week because of an issue I am experiencing. The lady that answered the phone was beyond rude. She said my issue wasnt serious enough to warrant being seen quickly and it would take over 2 months to be seen. She did not say I am sorry or even try to help me. I had to directly ask her what she would do, to which she gave me two phone numbers which was nice but her attitude made me not want to step foot in any office associated with them. Work on how to deliver bad news. Being in the medical profession you would think she would already be good at that. Shame shame

I was referred to Dr. Serkin by my sons pediatrician for ear tube placement; he did the operation 2 times (the fluid in the ears returned a few years after the 1st procedure so it had to be done again). Both times it was very successful and no complications. Dr. Serkin was knowledgeable, straight-to-the-point and had no problem answering all my questions.

Three star is an average for Dr. Serkin. He gets four stars for his surgical ability- I had a lump in my neck that he removed and I had a very quick recovery, for which I am grateful. He did not give good post surgery directions though so he gets four, not five stars. He gets two stars for bedside manner. I don't know if he lacks social skills or doesn't care about you as a person, but he is cold and doesn't communicate well. He couldn't give me an estimate for recovery time more precise than 24 hours to 2 weeks and he was dismissive of my concern about the lump being cancerous, even as he admitted 50% of lumps in that part of the neck were. Thankfully, it was not cancer and I don't have to see him again.

I wish i could give this guy 0 stars. He was so rude and dismissive. I had a lump in my throat and he told me it was all in my head. So I pushed for an ultra sound and he said it was nothing but still charged me 800 dollars. The problem did not go away so I got a second opinion and found a tumor on my saliva gland. If I had waited I could be dead...the doctor I saw said he did not know how he could have missed it.
