Despite having a good rating on Avvo my experience with this lawyer has been terrible. He is dishonest and seems to be taking advantage of people.  Office is rarely open despite listing regular business hours. Office number is automatically transferred to a third party answering service who will tell you "he's with another client".  Calls  go unreturned.  I wouldn't recommend hiring him.

This man Anthony Van Johnson backed out on being my attorney three days before my court date saying his calendar was full I'm just like why didn't he see and say that before I signed all that paper work released all my personal info and wasted all my time!!! Keep strolling from this law office they care nothing about your life and doesn't answer the phone EVER!!!

Horrible service, if i could give 0 stars i would!!!! I was a service member stationed overseas when i hired Mr Van Johnson. The only time i got to speak to him on the phone was when a payment didnt go threw, due to a wrong number. I never recieved a call from him with any updates and even when i called i was never able to speak to him. I had to fly all the way back and hunt him down in his office to get my divorce to move forward. 3 years later they find a huge mess up in my divorce papers and the courts tell us its him to blame. So again we have to hunt him down and afterwards he never speaks again. He might have someone that claims to be in his office send you a random email with info that you already know. But there will be no leg work put in! Stay far away from this Lawyer!!
