Story

We offer a full line of Pet Care Services including vaccinations for dogs and cats at a low cost. We also offer heart worm screening, heart worm preventatives, flea medications, tapeworm medications, feline leukemia & FIV tests for cats.

Sterilization surgery, skin care, dental cleaning services.

Our staff, directed by Dr. Miguel O. Navarro Martinez DVM, will provide all the professional assistance your pet requires.

***We are associated with the mobile clinics but we do not direct the Vanguard mobile clinics. This is a stationary clinic. For questions/concerns about the Vanguard mobile clinics please contact the main Vanguard office at Redland at 210-653-3660. As for now only 2 stars because I wasn’t at the actual clinic yet. I tried mobile CLINIC this weekend , just to find out after waiting in line for some time that they only offer vaccinations! It would been nice that they would’ve mention that on their site & stop calling themselves mobile clinic when they clearly don’t do check up’s like in actual “clinics” , it’s more a immunization stand , the word clinic is very misleading I wasted time. I will give the actual clinic a try whenever I need a vet  again, because I got my pets treatment from pet barn & I probably saved money with that so they lost my business there .but yes for now 2 stars.

We use this place for our 3 dogs. They do shots at the same price as the shot clinics in the grocery parking lots. They also have a wonderful Vet on staff if you want your pet checked a little more closely. They are so wonderful!

Such an awesome experience here. Came in at 8 spoke with Misty she got me in without an appointment got my Gema Lynn ready for our PCS move out the door in 30 minutes all for way under 200. 4 vaccines yrs worth of heart guard. Great job to the staff at this establishment.

I take our dog stare for their shots and to trim their nails. The staff is friendly . The Vet is very knowledgeable,  And you don't have to wait very long to get in period

We've been in 4 different states over the past 10 years and it's hard to find a vet you can trust with your fur babies. When we arrived here I wanted to test several before choosing which one to use for all of them. Bella went to Amigo on Potranco, Jo Jo got an EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE plan at Banfield in Pet Smart (it renewed without me even realizing so I'm locked in for another year!), Mr. Kitty went to Vanguard and Boogie went to the base vet. My cat got very sick and had to be put down eventually. It was the kindness Dr. Navarro showed during that horrible day that made me start moving all the pets to him. Boogie just had surgery and his teeth cleaned and our new kitty Cleo has seen Dr. Navarro for her shots and a once over. My dog Bella now has an appointment in 2 weeks. Their prices are so reasonable and Dr. Navarro is the ONLY VET I trust not do unnecessary things just to inflate a bill. My animals won't go to anyone else! He and his staff are wonderful!!!!
