Vassis is a go old fast food places. Food burgers fries and hot dogs. Ice cream and shakes too. It's a great place for traditional fast food.

Got off of work and wanted to try something different. Went here on 12/3/17 and thought the place was extremely cute. What's not cute is the cashier was a short rude little girl with a lisps. My food came out fast so that's a plus. Turns out it wasn't, my onion weren't even in it's container, my chicken breast sandwich had an odor (bad chicken?), My son's fries and nuggets weren't in it's container either. Very disappointed and I hope the staff has a better day because obviously it wasn't their best day.

Place has been around for ever.feel like a good gyro and fries or a burger and fries. With. An ice cream cone for dessert. This is the place to go.

This a fantastic little hole-in-the-wall / dive in Hellertown area.  Old drive in style building with a counter order for take out or sit out at picnic tables under canopy, otherwise there is indoor seating in rear.  The steak sandwich was excellent.  Classic South Philly style.  The steak was well chopped and flavored, and the sauce was just the right amount not to swamp out the overall flavors.  I got the mushrooms as an add-on, and the roll was nice and soft. Just the right texture.  It was a very notable steak sandwich.  We also got the house salad with the chicken. Very fresh, chicken add on was great. Super tender and very well seasoned.  Did not try the gyro yet, but a local patron said they are excellent.  Next on the list to try! Ice cream andalts were nice closer!  Definitely seek this place out when in the area.

Simple American drive-in food. Their cheesesteaks are unique and pretty fantastic. They hollow out the bun and stuff it with steak, cheese, tomato sauce, mushrooms, onions, and banana peppers. The stuffed bun reminds me of a Sonoran Hot Dog for those of you whom have ever been to the Southeast US
