I went to hear the South Side Aces tribute Louis Armstrong, and enjoyed myself thoroughly. Not only was the music and singing fun, the band leader peppered his interesting commentary with little-known facts about Mr Armstrong. I felt like I could hear Louis Armstrong, himself, singing. The musicians, some playing for the first time together, entertained us like the greats of old! Their joy in playing Louis Armstrong selections was obvious, and they looked to be thoroughly enjoying the sounds they created. They were playing from the heart, playing music they loved... You simply cannot ask for more! Food was excellent, wait staff efficient, attentive but not overbearing. I had the Po'boy sandwich... Excellent! I am definitely going again!

We attended recently for my mother's 70th birthday and it was delightful. I may get nostalgic for The Artists' Quarter, but this place is truly great. We enjoyed the music, the food, the drinks. They took great care of us. I especially enjoyed their barrel aged Vieux Carré. We will definitely return when we can.

Third Wed. The South Siders... Jazz, inaugural night was way fun! The band chose to wow us with a Louis Armstrong review, old favorites, and a few less known, and the stories that went with the music made it all the more fun! I had a Po' boy sandwich which was hot and very good! Loved the atmosphere, and I found metered parking on the street. I love St Paul!!!

Great music and food. The location was kinda of goofy and once we got there I was surprised. A basement- ish, but the service and food we're excellent! I would go again, but know what to expect as far the atmosphere. Check it out!

Loved our night here. Enjoyed a set by Dan Kase folowed by Debbie Duncan. We have already agreed to come back for her. Atmosphere is decent. Drinks prices are good and food is good. All in all, a really enjoyable night
