This place was probably Poppin off when it was built in 1925! Too expensive, too rough and rugged and definitely dingy AF... The shades don't close all the way, smells like mildew and they need new carpet, curtains and blankets. 
On a positive note, the AC worked very well, the checkout time was 1pm and full size refrigerator... 
BTW if you have a need for dope and hookers, you'll be happy to know.... On site! 🤗

If you want to charge prices of a more higher scale motel then you should clean up your motel. Its as Getto as they come..... The bathroom walks haven't seen new posting in easily 20+ years let alone scrub them. & the things found under the bed....... Well its not A place to bring a baby or even a toddler. Clean it up if U want a better reputation.

The staff was very accommodating but the place is a rat hole. Nothing works, after I moved rooms due to no a.c. there wasn't any bathroom tissue nor soap. Overall experience a -9 . That bad. If your a drug addict its a paradise for you. Otherwise stay away.

I would have given it a 3 if it had been more affordable but due to the living standards, the location, and the service and the price I have to read it a low too. It it's only saving grace where that it had decent TVs, that was where it ended though. Each room that I was in and I was in 3 well there for a 4 nights day, they couldn't even get a reservation two weeks in advance the same room, imagine that. The water pressure was horrible the water went from hot to cold and back and forth again throughout each full shower the sink water came out fast and harder than any shower I've ever been in, the door took an ordinary key and the locking mechanism was so old and used that it was a 20-minute battle every time I had to unlock the door from the outside. It looked like it hadn't been painted in a good 8 to 10 years the furniture all looks like it was extras from a B rated movie in the 80s. The lights were in the most threadbare condition, I found better condition lamps in the Salvation Army, the Goodwill, and even the dump. What I recommend this hotel to anybody, yeah I would recommend it to a death row visitor looking for a San Diego location.

It's just a very old style hotel, some rooms are a little better than others, it's clean, but it could be cleaned better, and there's no ice machine, but a fridge in room and microwave.
