Story

We are a museum wholly supported by gate admissions, private donations, special events, and eBay sales. We preserve the history of communications and the technology that enabled it. We have radios, teleprinters, typewriters, television, computers, telephone, telegraph, phonographs, and more. A lot of displays are interactive. We also have an extensive library set up for research and literature preservation. We also have instrumentation and test equipment.

Fascinating history of radio and communications. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. There's even a working Amateur Radio station for visiting hams who might want to operate W1VCM.

An amazing local find. While the catalogue of communications equipment is formidable, the real draw for me is the all volunteer staff of brilliant minds from a variety of technical fields and experience. A great place to spend a couple hours, even if you don't think you are in to olde tymey radios and sound equipment. Facinating museum, nothing else quite like it around here.

Great place! A wide variety of artifacts besides radios. The docent was very knowledgeable and informative. Take time for the guided tour as several items will be operated for your amusement/enjoyment.
