1.0 star rating1/7/2017 If I could I would give a below zero rating on customer service. I WILL never go back to this dealership for any reason. Even though I purchased my car overseas, Mandeville VW was the delivery company they chose and paid to deliver my car. Not only did they deliver my car dirty and full of sticker glue, I got no gas and no help on demonstrating the features of my new car. Trevor didn't have time for me because he was dealing with 3 other deals so I had to make my own phone calls to get the proper documentation needed to register my car after they refused to register it because they did not get paid to do so. I made three trips and several phones calls to this place to get more documentation after being told I had everything I needed. I am now at Day 4 and still don't have my brand new car registered. This was the worst experience of my life! Not only are they not knowledgeable about what each customer needs, they don't care. They obviously don't need future business either. I will drive as far as I have to for service but it won't be to Mandeville. Oh, and Trevor, don't bother with the apologies, it won't be sincere and I'm over you and your dealership. I know, you have to apologize so that your ratings improve. Keep it, because NOW, I don't have time for you!

In 2014, I bought two brand new TDI cars, a Jetta, and a Golf. As most know about the lawsuit, those who participated in the buyback process possibly had a frustrating experience like I did. Prior to turning my vehicles in, I worked with Logan O'Leary and Jason Peltz to select and arrange replacements for my TDI's. My plan was to walk in, turn in my diesels, and have everything else regarding the new car sales complete so that I could walk right back out with replacement cars. When my appointments came to turn my TDI's in arrived, the Volkswagen Corporation did not honor the original notarized offer and offered me a lower price than their "estimate." I found out that the "estimate" is based on driving 12,000 miles or less per year in your car. As a daily (sometimes up to 4 times a day) Causeway commuter, I had just under 50,000 miles on both of my vehicles which reduced what VW offered for the buyback. I was not very pleased with the process or the why's, but that's how it goes, I guess. Jason was willing to rework both of my new car deals to make it work with VW's settlement offer. As someone with experience in the car business, I know that Jason went out of his way to make me whole when the VW Corporation wouldn't. Logan and Jason treated me wonderfully, and I left there with two brand new VW's and a lot of gratitude. I am so very appreciative of their effort, patience, and willingness to honor the original sales plan we arranged although he most likely didn't have to. I have owned many cars in my lifetime from many makes and dealerships, and none have matched the satisfaction I've had with my VW cars. They are like little rolling bank vaults...solid, drive very well, and have given me zero troubles. And Volkswagen of Mandeville, hands down, has provided me with the best service, sales experience, professionalism, and follow on care and maintenance than any other car dealership I've ever done business with. Even after the facts of the lawsuit came out, I wouldn't have switched brands or dealers for any reason or incentive based on how Northshore VW has treated and taken care of my family and I. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend VW of Mandeville or the VW brand to anyone. Logan was one of the best front line salesmen I've ever dealt with, and he knows his products very, very well. Jason, without question, is gonna be a hero to me for a long time. He made things work in my favor far beyond what I realistically expected was possible, and he maintained his integrity and held to his commitment even when things didn't go as expected at the diesel turn in. I am beyond grateful for both Jason and Logan and what they did for me. I plan to be a customer for life at this point. Thank you, gentlemen for taking care of me and making me whole after the VW Corporation did not offer to do the same. You are very much appreciated.

These guys are lovely. I turned in my leased Jetta to them and bought a used Range Rover-so, not a Volkswagen-and they were pleasant the whole time. I live across the lake and Adam, the salesperson, was always in contact with me and made sure I didn't drive up to look at the Rover until after it had been inspected by their mechanic and cleared because he didn't want to waste my time. By the time it was cleared I was stuck in a parade down in New Orleans, and I didn't arrive at the dealership until after 4pm-before closing, but we all know how long car deals take. Sure enough, after a test drive and negotiating about my lease trade in (which I feel they gave me fair concessions and listened to me on) it was past closing and I was the only person around. Not only did they give me zero attitude about making them stay open and miss their own Mardi Gras plans that night, they assured me it was their pleasure and even had my car detailed after hours/after the shop was closed for me. The credit union we wanted to use was closed on Saturdays, so they "loaned" me the car until the approval came back during business hours the next week, allowing me to go home with it that day. During this time, the check engine light came on and there was a miscommunication about if I was driving up to them or they were driving down to me to finish the paperwork, so I was a bit irritated, and feeling like perhaps they didn't inspect the vehicle as thoroughly as they led me to believe only 2 days prior. However, when I returned to the dealership in an irritable mood, they went above and beyond to regain my trust. The part that needed replacing was something that could not feasibly have been inspected on Saturday when they looked at it, but given the within-48-hour coincidence they apologized and fixed the problem for free. Again my new car not being a Volkswagen they had to purchase the parts from Land Rover and do over four hours of labor with a master technician certified for the brand of car, all of which they took care of for me and did for free. They took an additional amount off my purchase price (which they had already fairly negotiated down before on Saturday) and drove the car down to me as soon as the car was done, about 24 hours later. They filled up the tank AGAIN right next to my house and RE-detailed the whole car for my one day of inconvenience. I absolutely recommend this dealership because not only did they treat me nicely when I was first buying a car (what dealership wouldn't?), but more importantly, even when things went wrong and I came back pissed off they continued to be pleasant, fair, and do whatever they reasonably could to put me at ease-and stood behind their sale, even off-brand. Five stars and will be bringing them my business again. Oh PS-LOVED my Jetta. I've driven several Volkswagens throughout my life and loved them all. Zippy little joy boxes. Don't let the fact that I switched brands turn you off, Volkswagens are fantastic and fun as hell to drive.

This is the best VM dealer I've experienced. I bought a couple of vehicles from this dealer recently, and they always try their best to meet my specific need. The sales manager Jason is so great that you won't even think about going anywhere else. I would recommend this dealer to people I know for sure.
