First, what got them up to a 3 instead of a 1. The 5's: A delicious thick strawberry shake with real fruit in it. Perfectly fried artichoke hearts without any of the hard leaves you typically get, along with tasty dipping sauce.  The Gold Buckle BBQ Burger is a house favorite and now I see why, because it really was a perfect burger!  And each time they served the food fresh using any available wait staff to serve the food, so I Iiked the team effort on a busy New Years afternoon. Those were all the good points. The 1's: Service was S-L-O-W and inattentive. We got to know the waiter station: We weren't given menus so we got our own menus.  We were not given flatware or napkins so we got our own flatware.  Throughout the meal we had to get up to supply our own napkins finger food, juicy burgers, prime rib dip, and sloppy sundaes are messy.   The Prime Rib Dip had lots of grizzle and cheese was half melted only covering one side of the sandwich.  Our waitress was pleasant but should learn to look at a table and see what is needed - check back. Finished our meal with the Roadhouse Sloppy Sundae which was a big hat no cattle sundae: 1/4 of the sundae was just whipped cream, then ice cream w/ice crystals, no caramel or chocolate sauce in the sundae itself it was drizzled on the whipped cream and mostly over sides of the dish, and a hard brownie at the bottom. We sat in a booth in the almost full bar on New Years day at 3:30PM and by 4:30 there were only two tables that had customers.  Point being, the service was inattentive whether it was busy or empty.
Well well. What a suprise! 1st- 20 dollar Ruben was a hit, and HUGE. Daughter rated it a 4. 2nd- Skinny Fries are great, the coleslaw is SOOOOO good. Chicken was chicken no complaints. A solid 4.5 by myself 3rd- Fish Taco 4 stars by my other daughter! The bruschetta bread was to die for. 10 stars around the entire table! Thanks!
We are regulars here. This is our third day in a row we have gone. Today our server told us they didn't have streak fries although they have the past two days. Although she kept our drinks full she also got my order wrong. I asked for steak with baked potato and clam chowder soup as my sides. She brought me baked potato and green beans as my sides. I waited a good 10 minutes waiting to see if she'd bring me my soup. She didn't. I literally had to ask a host walking by to go get my server. She didn't appoligize or anything and she STILL uncharged my bill for a side I didn't even get until I was halfway through my meal. We have had a great time the past two nights but unfortunately this experience was not the same.
New york steak was amazing and they put a baked potato down for me. But I was only seen like 3 times from waitress. Thank you to the couple who help pay for my meal i appreciate it.
A place to relax and feel good. Serving gourmet food is probably not Roadhouse Grill intention but what you get is alright.
Spent the night at the Best Western across the street for work and decided to try out the food truck they have set up outside. Got myself a Burrito Bowl w/ grilled fish with a little bartering and a $5 margarita. A great decision to say the least.
Sit back, relax, and dine at one of the best restaurant in Ellensburg. From being greeted by the wonderful hosts, to the wait staff, bartenders, and everyone that makes RH the perfect place to dine. Whether you are looking for a cold beer after a long day on the river or need a break cooking for all your kids at home, you can take advantage of their "kids eat free" on Tuesday, RH is the perfect place to go. Hands down my favorite dish for lunch or dinner is the St. Louis BBQ Ribs. I especially appreciate that they have wet naps to clean my fingers with while I devour these little pieces of heaven. My husband and I frequent RH on a weekly basis and we recommend it for all!
Had some steak although it was good, it was not what I had expected, perhaps I expect too much. I like my steaks to have a taste this was rather bland and although it did have a good taste it was not enough to go back for a 2nd round.
Pecan crusted chicken was a little dry but well balanced in the salad by blue cheese and cranberries. The bread pudding was delicious. Best part the buttery foundation and white chocolate morsels melted over the top.
Wings Central is a bar and grill in the heart of Ellensburg, Washington. They offer pleasant service, a nice, typical family restaurant environment and a variety of good food. Beers are also on tap and the Hamburgers are amazing. Expect to pay $25-35 for 2 for lunch or dinner. Whether you live there or just passing through, Wings Central won't disappoint and has plenty of seating to boot. I'll be going again.
