Went to Wally’s tonight (10/18/17) for the first time and greatly enjoyed it! We got the dinner for two and it was delicious with plenty leftovers to take home! The waitress (Tracy, I think was her name) was awesome- friendly and on the ball, despite being the only waitress there with a pretty full house. We were very pleased and will definitely return!

Wally's Wow!!' Charlotte County has many hidden gems. I just found another   one. Our server Alexis suggested the fish sandwich and it was a home run.

This place has won The Best of Charlotte County many times. If you are in the area, don't miss a chance for a fresh, local place to eat.

Hidden treasure, just amazing. Decor is very Florida sans beach theme, and the dead animals can be distracting if you're dining with teenage boys like I was. But I can't possibly say enough about the food. We all shared out what we ordered so I can say in confidence that there is probably nothing you could order that wouldn't impress as your dinner. Fried scallops were NOT overcooked, and were in fact so tender and juicy that when bitten into the juice veritably squirted out. Chicken was tender, and had a lovely smoke ring. The brisket. Oh, it was heavenly. As were the shrimp, and the cornbread. The only thing I didn't enjoy was dessert, and that was because I was too full.

Food was awesome and the price wasn't too shabby either! Loved it!!

*Updated Review:

Arrived shortly after 8 pm. The kitchen was already cleaning up to leave. The waiter almost seemed disappointed that he had another table to deal with. While waiting to take our order, he was picking up mats off the kitchen floor. I did not see him wash his hands afterwards. 

My husband and I each ordered a 2 meat plate. The meat was good. Slightly dry brisket. Rib tips were good. The sides, however, are a different story. The Mac and cheese casserole had no flavor. The bread crumbs on top had more flavor than the rest of the dish. The green beans had no flavor. No seasoning to it at all. When the waiter removed the Mac and cheese casserole, his finger touched my rib tips. (I still didn't see him wash his hands) 

The woman that I'm guessing was the manager asked if the Mac and cheese casserole was sour, like that may have happened in the past. 

I brought my family more than an hour to eat here. I've never felt so rushed in my life. While we were still eating, they'd evidently finished putting everything in the kitchen away, so they shut off the kitchen lights. I'm so very disappointed in our visit tonight.

Great local BBQ, love.the salad with 3 different types of meat on it. Very nice and friendly staff. Owner takes pride in their food and patrons. a must go restaurant!
