Sometimes the knowledge of the associates isn't one hundred percent but overall my experiences here are great. It is always clean , and there is tons of self checkout. They have the ones that have the belt and are self checkout which is very nice because you can empty the cart and then put the bags in as you make them.

Was impressed how busy it was and how much he tighter the aisles were compared to our Walmart in Connecticut.  A very well organized store.  Nice to Subway inside instead of McDonald's.

I tried to call and talk to my fiance about the mental health issues that I was having while he was at work (unfortunately suicidal issues). I called twice and informed the staff both times about the section he was working in (dairy section for the night). For the two times that I called I was not informed that he would be notified about the situation. They acted as if they had no idea what was going on. After I FINALLY was able to talk to him (by calling his actual cell) he knew about the emergency at hand. Apparently the associates knew I had called and we're aware of where he was working but didn't let my fiance know I needed his assistance. Walmart managers did NOT let him know what was going on with my health and didn't tell me that they would let him know what was happening. If you have an emergency at home, don't expect them to help you. They're more concerned about the work they need done rather than someones life.

We shop at Walmart in Dahlgren, Va. Our local Walmart in Clinton , Md, not as nice. Walmart, just as other big box store, always  build ln the predominant Black neighborhood's smaller and less maintained stores  than predominantly White neighborhhods. We do have nice Targets. I can say this with all honesty because we have shopped at Walmart from, NJ, Ala, California, and each state on the East Coast.  It got so bad we stopped going to any Walmart for 2 years. Only reason we did return, even though it's a multi billion dollars Corp and they pay their employees slave hourly wages, we have family that depend on their wages all across this country. Walmart needs to do better with their pay. Cheap SOB' s, as the sitting President would say.

Too crowded with merchandise.  Takes too long to check out.  Too few cash register clerks.  The Sanford unit is poorly mamaged; it's dirty and the help is unfriendly and un cooperative (I'm handicapped).  Employee morale seems to be low at the Sanford store.  By contrast, the Aberdeen store is well managed, the staff friendly and helpful, and morale seems to be high.
My greatest preference is to shop at the Aberdeen store.  The Sanford store sucks!
