From my first phone call to Walter Burke, I knew I was in excellent hands! We worked with Angela, beginning about 10 months before our June wedding, to plan for the 35 guests. It seems like securing your date early is a good idea, especially if your date is during peak wedding season. Based on the reaction of our other vendors, Walter Burke is very well-respected throughout Santa Fe. Angela was incredibly helpful with planning details, big and small. She was also very easy to reach, either by phone or by email. Walter Burke took care of all rentals for the event. They have a large selection for linens, tables, chairs, silverware, etc. They brought the rentals, set up the chairs for the ceremony, and seamlessly moved them over to the tables for dinner. The food was beautiful and delicious! The waitstaff was incredibly professional and very kind. Without a doubt, selecting Walter Burke was the best decision we made during wedding planning. They made the process easy and delivered BIG on our special day.

The staff treated our event as though they were the hosts. The service and food were fabulous, and they helped out when they saw a need, and were otherwise efficient and unobtrusive. In other words, "perfect!" I cannot recommend Walter Burke Catering highly enough. Bravo!

From start to finish we had a five-star experience planning our destination New Mexico wedding. We planned everything over the phone with Angela at Walter Burke as we were out of state. She was so flexible to every request and had fantastic food pairing suggestions for different courses. Our event was held at a magical Hacienda with our closest family members joining us for the weekend. Our wedding night was perfect! Walter Burke Catering has superior, professional staff, outstanding service, and a 5-star menu. Our guests loved the family style meal at a long table, beautifully decorated with gold chargers and different courses that came out over a 1.5 hour time period. This allowed for us to enjoy the entire experience by pacing ourselves and enjoying all the moments over dinner. The food was plated artfully and tasted even better than it looked, if that's possible :) The staff packaged all of our leftovers and we had a wonderful lunch the next day. Walter Burke- you are the best!

I give my highest recommendation to Walter Burke Catering. The food was fresh, inventive, and absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable. The team was warm and inviting, and paid attention to absolutely every detail, from the lavender garnish in the signature cocktail to putting out the luminarias out at sunset. The event was seamless and stress-free, and much of this is credited to the team at Walter Burke. Highest praise to Lili, our captain. Thank you Lili!!! We had the best day of our lives :)
