Love the Spring Fair! Last year we went for the first time, but went on a weekday and it was awesome. This year we went yesterday (Saturday) and it was a mad house. We will never go on a weekend again. Also, the monster truck ride was WAY shorter than any other time we’d been on it. For the extra $8 you pay for that, they really should make it a minute or 2 longer. Overall though I’ve always been impressed with the fairgrounds overall.

Love the fair grounds. Depending on the type of event you can purchase a wheelchair for the day. Some events do not have handicap options though. So just make sure to follow up before coming. Otherwise it is a great place to come. Lots of things to see and lots of walking. Make sure to always know what gate entrance to go through to. Some events may be at the yellow gate entrance while others are at the blue gate. Makes it easier for walking and time.

This year's spring fair was an excellent experience. $10.00 on site parking, $12.00 entry fee (under 5 free). Lots of stuff for kids ages 5-13, also some intense rides for older kids and adults. If your child is under 5 they offered a petting zoo, an indoor play area with fun games, and a generally safe environment. There was even a dog show, a bird show, and a couple other animal shows.

This used to be a great family event for the state... Now it's just a consumer driven money pit... Look online for deals, even with coupons and deals one should expect to burn a Benjamin per person. I just order the scone mix online and buy a season pass to enchanted parks. I save money and still get my favorite fair food as well as keeping the kids happy the whole summer long!

The annual washington state fair is a wonderful family getaway for a few hours. They have a petting farm, a barnyard with various farm animals where we can go close and pet all of them. There are also some competitions for the farm animals. There are also the usual fair games and yummy food. Overall a great experience for everyone :)
