Great place, easy to book appointments during off seasons with the fair. Camp host is very nice and very accomidating, she will help you with anything needed from help backing into a spot to hooking up your rv She will answer any questions and help out with directions and who has what for your camping needs. These posts are interesting what people say, treat people how you would expect to be treated and hey! You might be surprised at the outcome. Clean grounds that are kept mowed and dumpsters for your garbage, ( so no need to leave your garbage next to the garbage cans if it doesnt fit). Friendly people that stay here, mostly people working out of town and travelers, so it makes it very comfortable to not have to worry about anything happening to your rv.

Watch out for that camp host. What a gem. I called the office this morning and explained that my father would be in late, coming from out of town. I asked if he needed to call in and pay and make a reservation. The woman in the office said no, just talk to the lot host when we get there and she would direct us what to do and we could pay then. I met my dad at the lot at 9 pm. He knocked on the lot host’s door and she snidely says ‘do you have any idea what time it is? Besides we have an event this weekend so I wouldn’t be renting to you anyway.’ Well, it’s wednesday night and there’s just 6 motorhomes in the lot. We tell her that we called earlier and spoke to the office and she said she wasnt renting out. To say I’m livid is an understatement. My dad and brother had just finished a 4 day drive from TN and had hoped to just park and sleep. Instead they had to go up to Walmart without anywhere to plug in. Especially since we had already spoken to the office- who didn’t mention anything about a weekend event being an issue on an empty Wednesday night. Pretty sure if they were booked up tonight, the lot would be full. What a lovely woman to be chosen to handle people. Edited to add: I called the office again this morning and was told that the person who answered my call yesterday isn’t someone who normally works in the office. So instead of getting correct information and maybe giving me a call back, she just decided to wing it, I guess. While I did know this was not a long term lot, this lot is actually only for vendors and then the public- even though on this particular night there were open spaces as far as the eye could see. The warm and friendly lot host could have confirmed we were only going to be staying one night- Wednesday-and not interrupted any reservations for the weekend. But she instead decided to treat us like garbage. Just stay away, unless you’re a vendor at an event. There’s other places to plug in nearby, cheaper, and you don’t have to deal with incompetent office staff or self-important lot hosts.

We stay 2 nights. 30 dollar for full hook up is not bad. You need 3 dump hoses. Gps takes you the exit side and the road is dead end so if you drive big rig, Be carefull!
