Rental a bike to see if I liked it to consider purchasing. Pittsburgh has a fair amount of hills and wanted to test out bike features. Paid for 2 hours rode about 45 minutes. Bike would not shift gear, was told I did it and should never shift both gears. HMMM. Go back and since no offer of refund, I chose another bike. My experienced cyclist daughter rode it around the parking lot, Well this one had 2 gears! So if renting here pay with charge card (for your protection) and test bikes around parking lot before leaving. Not a good experience, and yes I have rented from others with never anything like this.

Excellent place to rent a bike. Good knowledgeable people working there that are always willing to help out with any questions or bike needs you might have.

Very reasonably priced and in a wonderful area along the Great Allegheny Passage in the borough of Homestead PA. You can head south and east on crushed limestone or north and west on pavement into the heart of Pittsburgh. Marty and his crew are wonderful and a pleasure to rent from. Highly recommended!
