This is normally a nice store. Today however, two clowns who work there tried to sell me a bike rack. They quoted me $300 initially. At the register, the price became $620. I told them that we had no deal, and the gentleman did not even apoligize or explain the price discrepency. This being said, the other employees are top notch.

The staff is nice if you meet them in person, location is close, and they carry a lot of stuff so I go there but I'm having bad experience scheduling stuff with them. This happened first when I bought by road bike in 2016. They had to order it from the warehouse and forgot to do so. They were also suppose to call me when it's ordered. I got no phone calls. I had to call them two more times and there was another reason things were delayed. I ended up getting my bike a week later than initially told. Then recently I dropped off my bike to get the front brake calipers replaced. I was told the part will be ordered on Monday and would be delivered by Tue and the bike will be ready on the earliest by end of Tue and more likely on Wed. I was also suppose to get a call with status update. I herd nothing back by Wed so I called but the mechanic wasn't there and he was suppose to call me later. Later that day, still no call. I called again and now I'm told there's no way parts can be delivered in a day and the fastest it'll arrive would be Thu. Then again they couldn't even assure the bike will be ever done since it all depends on when the parts are delivered. Such a good experience when I dropped off my bike or other occasions when I needed a quick fix. But such a bad experience when things needed to be handled over multiple days.

Bad service... I came to the store because I was interested in getting a road bike. As stepped in to the store staff were all doing there own business and it was hard to find a staff to talk to. It seemed like they did not want to do business at all with the customers.... Also the bikes in this shops are very expensive....

I broke my ankle and use a knee walker to roam around. My tire went flat yesterday. I called these guys today on Sunday and they offered to fix or replace the tire immediatley, and that's what they did. A+ service, couldn't be happier. Now I can roam free!

I've had several positive experiences here, but most recently I had two floor pumps fail prematurely. The first time, I asked to exchange the pump for store credit because I didn't have confidence in the quality of their pumps. They suggested that I just take a new pump, assured me that failures were uncommon, and offered to replace it again if it failed. Sure enough, the second pump failed. When I went in to exchange it, they wouldn't do it. I explained my experience last time, but all I got were lots of long-winded explanations about how seals degrade, how the return policy "is supposed to work", and how often the person I spoke with (Kevin) hangs out with the Specialized sales rep. He offered to talk to the rep to see if he'd be willing to replace it. After leaving the pump there, I got a call later in the week telling me that I was up a creek, effectively. The pump probably costs them less than $20. Almost any future purchase that I would have made there would net them more than $20 in profit. What a poorly run place, these days.
