I'm a staff member at KU. I used the Immediate Care Clinic a few weeks ago. They were able to get me in within 10 minutes of calling, another 10 minute visit, and immediately down to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription. The staff was considerate and helpful. And it saved me from missing too much work having to drive across town to my normal doctor.  Will use again.

Although there is probably some truth to the horror stories that are out there regarding Watkins, I have never experienced poor service myself. Considering that a visit to Watkins is essentially free of cost, it's tough to complain about the service. I recently came in for a relatively minor emergency after cutting off the tip of my finger. Rather than go to an Lawrence Memorial and pay a ton of money for a relatively minor injury, I went to Watkins. I showed up at 5:59pm on a Friday evening and they still let me in and treated me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although they had every reason to be irritated for me coming in at 5:59pm, they were very understanding. I only paid $15 for my treatment. Coming to Watkins saved me a ton of money and a trip to the ER.

Great staffs. Students with school insurance pretty much have full coverage for doctor visit.

The doctor at the Gyn clinic is nice and one of the nurses is nice too... But there's one nurse that did not treat me with respect on sensitive issues. The sanitation of the clinic is questionable. I haven't looked anywhere else for health services yet, but I'm increasingly motivated to.

I went in to get my stitches removed and the woman that did it forgot to do two of them. Now I have a massive scar because they were in there longer than they needed to be.
