Do not hire this Welch Plumbing because they are most dishonest plumber in the world!  Called this business for a water leak from upstairs shower and wet spots on the ceiling of downstairs room early last year.  One of two Welch brothers showed up around 8:20 AP on a Feb 2016 morning.  He looked at the tub, looked into the area under the tub through the closet, and declared the leak was caused by the shower water getting down via the small window in the bathroom.  He said: "Bathroom windows are big problems.)  So he sealed around the screen.  This is NOT A JOKE, HE SEALED AROUND THE SCREEN WINDOW, as if shower water only goes to the less than one inch wide frame of the screen and avoids the screen completely!  The not-so-funny part of his stupidity is: even if the leak is caused by the window, sealing the screen does absolutely nothing, because water can still GO THROUGH THE SCREEN.  Of course the window is not the problem, it never was.  The bill came and the charge for this utterly stupid diagnose and FIXING was    $105     for the less than ten minutes job, I mean JOKE.    Of course the problem persisted and got worse.  We called around and complained to a Real Estate agent friend named Carol Hong about the cheating job by the Welch Plumbing and ask for a trustworthy plumber.  Carol recommended Keith Pumper, another local plumber, who send a knowledgeable and honest plumber over,who correctly diagnosed the water problem and suggested a DIY.  The charge was less than half of Welch's unbelievable unprofessional dishonest highway "robbery" , a total of   $50  for his professional opinion.  We followed Keith Pumper'plumber's advice and got a tube of sealant and a roll of tape and sealed round the tub ( for a total of less than $10).  Problem fixed.  (Problem: the tub was a outdoor tub and its edge does not have the indoor tub's water preventive curve that curves up to send the water back into the tub, hence as time goes by the seal between the tub and the tiled wall has a hairline separation that was too minor to see, water sips down between the wall the tub and stains the ceiling upstairs.  Now there is no leak any more and the ceiling was painted. )   We called to ask for an explanation and refund for the miss diagnose which caused the worsening of the problem.  So far nothing was heard from those dishonest people.  Do not hire them unless your like to be cheated.
