I just moved into the area, and was given Big Dave's name by a friend of mine. I've used him every since March. He is wonderful and my go to plumber! I highly recommend him. He fixed my toilets and tubs - and sinks, and installed a kitchen sink soap dispenser (and removed a kitchen sink water filter). He also gave me tips on my sump pump hose, fixed leaks in dripping faucets and installed a new kitchen faucet. The man does everything and he is wonderful at it. Prices are fair. :)

I cannot describe how amazing Dave was to work with. He walked me through my issue, gave me pricing options and after talking to me realized that I might be able to solve it myself. I know that when I say, "solve it myself" it can sound like he was "passing the buck" on a low dollar job. That wasn't the case! He picked up the phone 3-4 times and helped me troubleshoot the issue and even gave me advice on how to fix it. 

He could have easily just told me that he would come out in the next few days and replace my garbage disposal, but instead he helped me save hundreds of dollars and has gained a customer that knows he's the guy to call when I need an honest person to help me.

In the future if I ever have a problem I know who to call for anything I need!

I am so impressed with the service I received today, thank you Big Dave! I called Dave this afternoon and he agreed to to meet with me on the same day! He was friendly, honest, fast, prepared and informative. 
I will definitely use Big Dave again and highly recommend his service. FIVE STARS!!

How disappinting. We asked to have a sink faucet replaced and a restroom faucet installed in a new granite vanity top. Dave installed the kitchen faucet but he claimed the granite counter was too thick and the faucet could not be installed. He charged us $220 for installing the 1 sink. Sent my wife to the hardware store for pipe extensions he later claimed were not able to work on the vanity. We called another plumber and he installed the restroom faucet easily and for only $75.  Dave is a 1 man show and must not have the parts or experience. We are disappointed and would not hire Dave again.  Buyer beware.

It was down to 3 plumbers and Dave was my pick because of the following:
-He was able to give me a ballpark estimate over the phone.  Many of the other plumbers wanted to charge $60-$100 for a visit where they would then give me an estimate.  This was to add a water line so that my new fridge could dispense ice and drinking water.
-He was not asking me what other plumbers were asking for.
Note that his estimate came above one other plumber, but I selected him because of the overall feedback.

Regarding the work itself:
-I could tell he had lengthy experience; that counts and it showed.  He amazingly figured things out looking at the ceiling of my old basement(home built in the 30's) where there's a maze of old and new pipes among other things I know not of.  The additional nice thing is that he was explaining what he was doing and that really reassured me.
-He was exceptionally courteous; as he was busy servicing my house, he took 2 calls in whenever possible (i.e. as he waited for the pipes to drain...), and simply ask inquirers that he would call them back later in the evening.  I didn't mind at all because when I had called him, he answered in the same fashion and did call me back that evening.  That's how potential customers should be treated.  
-The work was done promptly but not rushed; so you know, he had 3 more appointments.
-He gave explanations on the fridge water dispenser dripping, the flushing of the system, the hookup behind the fridge, and much more.
-At the end, he sat down and asked me if I had any questions or concerns; I had none as he covered anything I could have thought of.  What a professional!
I'm glad I picked Dave!  I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
