Charged me 7.50 to cash a check written out to me from a customer who has an account with them. Didn't tell me until after they said yes they could cash it and I signed check and have ID. Had I known that before hand I wouldn't of signed check. I'm not walking around with a signed check in my possession. Cross Wells Fargo off the list of banks I'm gonna open up my business account with down here in Florida. You're costing yourself new accounts with policies like this !! Not only that but the business that wrote me the check will be notified that their bank charges customers if they go to cash a check they write at their bank. Poor poor poor !!!!

Not speaking of Wells Fargo as a banking company, but about this location: Clean and convenient. Tellers are polite even first thing in the morning.

You truly have some of the worst banking policies I have ever seen. You hold payroll checks, payroll checks, from other institutions stating you will release in ten business days after it has been collected from the other institution when I can see it has cleared our payroll account as of yesterday.  
The teller at the window must have been new, he deposited my check said have a nice weekend and didn't even notify me that you were holding my payroll check.....we have families to take care of.  I didn't even realize the funds were not available until I was out of town and tried to pay for a dinner.  In the mean time I will receive a payroll check for the following weeks pay before I have access to the funds you have on hold.  I will not continue to utilize the account at Wells Fargo going forward.  I will use the account at the bank where my check is drawn and deposit just the funds to cover the household bills that are streamed through your institution until I have the time to move all our household bills to another bank.  We have been a customer since 1993, but not for much longer.
