scum of the earth pilfering money at every chance. I have stopped going down town because over the course of months being a few minutes late on the meter has cost me hundreds of dollars in parking tickets. I just stay home now, where I continue to receive parking tickets anyway. Our driveway is small, can hardly accommodate two cars, so I had been parking on unpaved grassy lot next door and the city issued me two tickets for parking on unpaved ground, even though it was private property that I permission to park on. I could not dispute either of these tickets either because I had not been able to pay off previous outrageous parking tickets. The only reasonable thing about parking in WPB is it is mostly free after 7pm, except in city place, they're tricky like that. They want everyone to pay for parking one way or the other. It is abusive and exploitative. The other day I got home at 6:55pm and quickly ran inside to grab something, parked in the metered spot across from my ridiculously small driveway, came out 4 minutes later and of course, the scumbag parking meter maid who lives on the block ran right out to issue a ticket. No big deal, just another 27$. I will simply be paying off all meter fines and government fines now in unrolled pennies out of pure spite.

I was ticketed quite obviously because of the color of my skin. Two other individuals were guilty of the same infraction but they were waved off and told it was okay to park.

They have a failure to see policy where if they don't see the decal in the car you still pay for the fine. Thats why people don't support the cityplace businesses. Never going back again!

West Palm Beach parking enforcement is horrible. The department just blatantly tries to steal your money. The system is obviously set up to just aggressively give tickets and make it as difficult as possible to appeal. If you want to pay a parking ticket, then you can do so online. If, however, you want to appeal a ticket then it is a difficult and time-consuming process by mail or fax. I emailed them regarding my appeal of a parking ticket, they waited 10 days to tell me the appeals process, but then said that the appeal must be filed within 20 days and that deadline was 3 days ago. Enjoy my $42 and next time I'll go to Delray Beach.
