Quiet outside environment, clean to our satisfaction and the staff are wonderful! The two housekeeping ladies are as sweet as can be and very accommodating. The only con I had was the paper thin walls. You can hear people snoring and their conversations clearly. Despite that one flaw, we are currently enjoying our stay.

Don't get the "Western Inn " confused with a Best Western. It's a very basic place and costs more than its worth. Seems to have a lot of folks loitering in the parking lot during peak times.

My husband and I took over officially at the The Western Inn on June 20, 2016 We have a lot of challenges ahead of us. Unfortunately the property has been badly neglected . The rooms nor the business itself were in the best shape. But my husband and look at potential and seen that it was here at the motel. The previous management did not run things the way we do . I'm not saying it was one way or the other but it was not up to our standards .But of course everyone has their own way of doing things. I just happen to be OCD about cleanliness and safety. My husbands OCD happens to be book work and organization. We are slowly going in and taking one room weekly and replacing air conditioning units and bathroom sinks. We have a wonderful cleaning staff that work their butts off to make the rooms clean and safe for guest. We have a good reputation with the police department and health inspectors for the town. The property is patrolled nightly and inspected regular by the health department. We have a contract with a pest control and they are very thorough. Yes there maybe holes that are being plastered and may not have the last coat of paint, But we are doing the best we can. Since our takeover we have been booked with construction companies from all over the states working local. And are constantly taking more reservations. So we must be doing something right. We have had only very few complaints and we try our best to correct those issues as they arise. Our customer satisfaction is our priority. Yes I do think that past customers that had issues before are still saying negative things. And that is absolutely not truths at least now anyway. Do not come here expecting something for nothing . I have read the reviews and they are horrible. But the one I read that said it was resent was false. I actually went through files checking names and dates. So please do not believe or go by the past reviews. We have even had people that were related to past employees or their friends to say things to try to make the motel fail. We will bend over backwards for our customers and go out of our way to help anyone. But we will not be lied to or tricked into given someone something for nothing. I can assure anyone that since June of this year we have had numerous compliments on how every thing looks inside and out. If you want a safe ,clean, quiet place to sleep please visit us. If your looking for what use to be here I'm sorry we do not allow any of that. If you want to party, hook up , or blast your music please go to another motel. We are here to serve the people who respect others. Thank you and I pray that each traveler that passes through our doors will be graced with good health and a good nights sleep. The bathroom was fairly clean ,the sheets were clean that was the only thing OK with the room on the other the hand the comfortable didn't look clean in inso I was not going to sit or sleep on it and on top of that the carpet had like 4 big black spots on it enough to make u want to throw up I will never stay there again and they had the nerve to charge $59 dollars a night take my word for it that place is a dump
