After being ripped off $1,800 on AC repairs that never got repaired from another big name auto shop I decided to bring my truck here to Whitey's at the suggestion of some friends.  They looked at the AC, told me what was needed to fix the AC correctly (after the other big name place screwed it up) and the cost. I was skeptical after having already lost $1,800 somewhere else but I borrowed the money and had Whitey's do the work. After I picked up my truck I was ready for the AC to go out again. After several days driving in this heat it's still working! Whitey's has officially won me over as an auto repair shop I can actually trust. Needless to say, I'll be coming back here for all future repairs and maintenance. I now see why my friends raved about this place. While customer service is important (the owner, his wife and staff here are awesome by the way) the integrity and quality of work is equally important.  This place has it all.

I couldn't describe how much I really appreciated in this auto shop. Whitey has been always amazing to me. They're legitimated and honest. They're always care about their customers and honest to everyone. I wish I could give them 10 stars. But unfortunately, they only have 5. :( Anyway, I  definitely recommend this place to everyone. I was very a fortunate to have this company. So far I really have a good experienced with them. I've been telling all my friends. I recommended this place to them. They said, " they can't wait to come to this auto shop." But Some of my friends they were telling me that you are crazy, Kaw. You live in Phoenix and wasted your time driving all the way to Scottsdale. They were like don't you think if you find another auto shop in Phoenix near you it would be more convenience for you for you. I rejected them and didn't pay attention because they don't know anything about this auto shop. People are who feedback this company with awful comment. They're so wrong!

Whitey's is quite a breath of fresh air when it comes to auto repair service shop. I've been taking my 4 vehicles to them for more than 6-yrs. now and  I can't believe that at this time and age of dishonesty and abject cheats from a lot of alike services, there's a place in my midst where I can take my vehicle and expect an honest diagnosis of the problem and that nothing will be recommended for fixing or replacement when it's not really necessary. Cost of labor and material, in my opinion are aligned to the prevailing rate of the area. Shawn at the front office is such a pleasant and accommodating guy, and Mark, one of their excellent "Car Doctors" who seemed to be the one who works on my vehicles most times-is always available to see me when I have questions . My interactions with some of the team members were nothing but positive-they show you courtesy and I feel they really care. Take your vehicle to Whitey's, experience it yourself and I bet you wouldn't be taking your vehicle to another shop again.

Not that these guys need more perfect 5-star reviews, but I'm going to give them one anyways.  I have been taking all 3 of my vehicles here for almost 10 years now, and NEVER had anything but a positive experience with them. Super communicative, very friendly (and seem like they truly love their job), honest, fast.

I have referred family and friends, and they all feel the same.

The thought of ever having to use another mechanic absolutely terrifies me!
