We hiked to the red rock canyon with our 4 yr old. Its a beautiful trail with lots of shade. There was never a dull moment! The trail has lot to offer. You walk through dirt road, sand, rocks with mostly steady elevation. The canyon itself is a beautiful hue of red and a great spot to take pics! Bringing water to drink is advisable. I would want to go here again and again. Can't believe there is such a lovely trail that starts near a shopping complex!

Great place for a short or long hike. Great place to bring the family for a relaxing day. There are several spots right off the trail to sit for a moment and just relax. Usually gets crowded on the weekends with bikers. Having kids with you on this trail can be dangerous with bike riders flying by so you cannot just relax on the trail since you will be in other people’s way. Parking is not the greatest. You can try to park in Ralph’s nearby but are at risk of getting towed. This trail leads all the way up to the foothills and connects with many other trails. You can spend the entire day in here. Overall it is a nice place.

One of my favorite places to run and mountain bike! From wide trail to small paths. There's lots of area's with tree cover for shade on a hot sunny day hike. It's beautiful when hiking while raining, the sounds of the rain and birds in the tree's and the smell of nature is increased.

Nice 5k hike. The canopy parts is the best... My group saw 4 deer up and back down the trail. The last 3rd of the hike gets a bit challenging. Very surprised at the amount of deer Nd they are not that skittish

Great trail system in the middle of suburbia allows one to feel like a real nature getaway with the convenience of going to the local park. Be advised that the supermarket nearby does not allow parking and will ticket / tow. Dogs are not allowed even though people cheat on this it really not cool to bring dogs as this is a nature area and dogs scare away wildlife diminishing the experience for all. Trails suitable for beginner to intermediate hiking. No bathrooms on trail so be advised and bring lots of water. Be prepared to pack everything out and LEAVE NO TRACE.
