October 31st 2016 veiwing . my father passed. I had made all my arrangements before the time came so we could all be ready. The staff was great the viewing was amazing they did a wonderful job with preparing my dad he did look very handsome just like the photo. I have been to other viewing and this place is one of the best. Lots of open space very clean. I want to thank all staff members. I will continue my business here in future. Also August 2017 Had my aunt's viewing great job thank you. The key to a successful relationship with the funeral home is plan ahead if you could it makes everything much easier with an open communication line.

My experience at Williams Funeral Home was very good .... during the hard time my family and I was going through the Micheal and rest of staff made it very comfortable and very attentive to our needs during our time of grief.... the planning of the wake and the actual day of the wake was a very smooth process ... my siblings and i were very pleased with the result...

Beyond helpful before during and post funeral for processing of ANYTHING. Couldn't be more helpful and allowing for comfortable experience throughout the course of a trying time of the passing of my mother-in-law. As well, when a financial issue arose, they did not stress us out at all and took care of the problem without worry. A family atmosphere, very smooth experience. They have all resources, authority, and connections to any services required for the processing of all matters regarding pickup and burial of the deceased. Also, very affordable especially in comparison to other parlors. Thanks much

To Williams Funeral Home: Death is not a crime. Think about all the effort your funeral services put into the ceremonial events after you have picked up the body. Why did you tell Mrs H's son and caregiver to "call the police" when her death was carefully and intentionally orchestrated at home? Why can't your funeral home work together with the care team and respect that the medical team also has ceremonial care events for her dying process. Maybe we want some time alone with thoughts or together with a hug which doesn't require law enforcement because being cared for while dying is not a crime. You were given my phone number and just now told me, when I called you, that you knew I was going to sign the death certificate. I knew which funeral home her family had chosen. What could the police to do with guns and hand cuffs if you knew I was going to certify the end of life and I knew a day earlier that she was going to die? Death is not a crime, its a life event that requires professional services. Please do your part to work seamlessly with the care team. Don't call the cops on an important peaceful moment, after all no other funeral parlor does this. They have my number and they call me first.

Over the past years my father and both of my in laws were waked at Williams Funeral Home. The staff was very professional, caring and helpful during the very difficult time we had as a family. They answered all of our questions, took care of many details that arose and provided a quality of service that was second to none....and all in the Bronx, go figure!
