The hotel is uniquely quaint and refreshingly different. The suites have a fireplace, seating area with a wet bar, double beds and large television, a huge shower and Toto toilet. There are two entrances to  the room and an outside seating area. Throughout the hotel you can find indoor and outside fireplaces and seating areas with water features. You are welcomed to have wine or do a wine tasting in the lobby. The continental breakfast was perfect. The staff was exceptional and accommodating. Parking is plentiful and you can walk to all the shops since you are in the heart of Solvang.

Clean and reasonably priced rooms right in the middle of Solvang. Walking distance to everything in town, and well placed for a wine vacation. There even is wine available in the lounge area off the lobby. The server can teach you about wine as you sip away. Dog friendly is an added plus!

The rooms were nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The windows didn't open nor did the window coverings keep out any light. The drain smelled like sewer back wash but they comped us a bottle of wine and we weren't in the room but to shower and sleep. I'd go back again .

After years of hearing about Solvang's famed Aebleskivers and European charm, I decided to make my pilgrimage there to ring in the new year. My wife and I chose to stay at the Wine Valley Inn since they were one of the only pet-friendly hotels in the heart of the city and we were not disappointed. 

The staff was pleasant upon check in and directed us towards our room. We were on the ground floor in a room with a large patio. You can see a picture of our Great Dane peering over the patio wall in photo section above. The inside of the room was surprisingly spacious, and the tub and shower could only be described as cavernous. The only issue with our entire stay was that our room ran out of hot water before it could fill that cavernous tub.

We checked in January 1st so the inn still had it's gorgeous Christmas decorations on display. Between the size of the room, the quality of the included hot breakfast, and the ability to have my four-legged friend with me, I have no reason to give this place any fewer than five stars.

Very attentive staff. The rooms are a bit small for the price, but it was a very enjoyable stay. Cute cottage style hotel off of the main drag so a little more quite. Nice wine hour every night in the lobby featues local wines at a good price. Recommend for a stay.
