Miles is an absolute gentleman and great craftsman. We recently rescued my wife's grandfather's dining set from storage. It was bought brand new in 1957 and has been pasted through the family, Miles assured me he would do his best to restore it to it's original color and beauty. And as you can see, he did not disappoint. He sent my wife to a fabric store to pick out the colors, and he took care of the rest. Miles is very very detailed and cares so much about his work, and treats you like family. He has even made multiple visits to our home to assure everything looks just right and is up to our request. I checked around, and his work is very reasonably priced, please give him a call first before you look anywhere else for furniture restoration.

Miles is absolutely wonderful! He is truly passionate about furniture restoration and it definitely shows in his work. I had an old family table and 4 chairs from the 1950's stripped and refinished, and everyday I look at it I'm more and more impressed with just how perfect it is. It took about 4-5 weeks from start to finish, which he told us upfront, and he delivered on time. In the beginning I got three other quotes besides Miles and they were all about the same price, so the price he quotes you is very friendly. But Miles took a personal interest in my satisfaction, and no one else could offer that, and I was not even remotely disappointed. I'm telling you, Miles is the best in town.

Miles - - an A+ furniture artisan What I liked first about Miles is that when he first visited at my house, he asked me many questions about what I did not like about the bedroom dresser in its current condition . .. and what I hoped that it would become. Miles thoroughly explained the process of restoration, including what he could and could not do. The second advantage of hiring Miles is that he picked up the furniture at my home! I did not have to figure out a way to get it to him. What a convenience! Thirdly, Miles is a great communicator. During the restoration process, he periodically sent me text messages to update me on his work. Moreover, Miles demonstrated through gestures and vocal inflections that he feels great enthusiasm for his work. Finally, the dresser Miles delivered back to my house displayed the artisan's ability to bring out the best in the wood grains . .. including the addition of a tasteful sheen. Not only that, Miles had repaired the dresser drawers so that they now slide more easily when being opened and closed. Plus, he corrected the orientation of the swing mirror. "Wood Art" is the perfect name for Miles' business! He is the furniture artisan! Gwen, in Marietta July 2017

Miles is a true craftsman and artist when it comes to wood and finishes. He’s prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. A trustworthy and unique individual. A pleasure to work with.

Cleaned out Mom's basement in Chicago. This chest had been sitting there for 49yrs. Before that it had been in a basement in Detroit for decades+. I knew there was still something left in it, just not sure what. Miles made it beautiful again. The price was very reasonable and he was on time with the delivery date. If I ever need anything else worked on I'm calling Miles Seymour at Woodart.
