One of those unexpected rare gems one finds when you least expect it. Exceptional steaks, warm atmosphere, great service. We will be back the next time we are in that neck of the woods.

Awesome meal, service and atmosphere. Came here with a family of 12 for a pre-Thanksgiving meal and were blown away. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Really loved this place, couldn't recommend it enough. We tried it all too: Clams, tips, Elk, Pork Chop, steaks, burger and more. Treated kids great.....really an awesome meal and experience. Almost better than our Turkey Day itself (almost)

We had a group of ten for a birthday dinner scheduled multiple weeks in advance. Despite the large advanced notice, our server seemed both entirely out of their element, and vastly rushed and flustered. Through the night there were multiple mistakes made by the staff ranging anywhere from how long it took to come back to the table, asking if we wanted more drinks, bussing our dirty dishes, getting orders correct, refilling water, not checking in on us, obviously ignoring us after we were peeved about all of the mistakes, and even not opening a bottle of wine placed on the table nor giving us glasses for it. One of the ten of us was even told three minutes before the whole table was served that his food wasn't actually available, and he had to order something else. That something else was not rushed, and we ended up cancelling it and sharing our plates with him, which is ludicrous. The manager later told us it wasn't that it was not available, but they were too dry to serve us. A single beer took 30 minutes to show up at the table, and yes, we actually stared at an unopened bottle of wine for 20 minutes before it was noticed that we had no glasses for it and it was, indeed, unopened. If this was just one mistake we'd be happy to forgive and forget, but this whole night was a series of big and small mistakes and the only compensation offered was a cookie. Literally - they comped us a single birthday cookie for this all and we still had to pay the 18% mandatory party-larger-than-six gratuity. This place charges top steak house prices and severely under-delivers. I'd go somewhere else. Anywhere else, actually. Abysmal.

Mixed luck on the all-you-can-eat ribs Tuesday. Odd servings were juicy and even ones were a little dry. Still I love the the place and the food. Worth visiting.

The Woodman Lodge rivals any of the top steak houses in Seattle and Bellevue. Their grilled artichoke appetizer is a must have. Their steaks melt in your mouth and are prepared to your specifications. I have never been anything but satisfied with my meals here and gleefully anticipate the next time we can go again. If you have any room left at the end of the meal, their fruit crumbles are divine.
