We had a very long labor and recovery, and the many nurses and staff such as Lactation consultants and doctors were always very helpful and kind to us. It was amazing seeing the follow through they made to ensure my wife was getting optimal treatment as a patient. It was a wonderful experience having our baby girl here, because it was all done in the same room, so we didn’t have to worry about moving to different units in the building. They could improve on a few things. The complementary services, such as acupuncture and massage therapy, are only offered Monday-Friday, but many patients like us deliver during the weekend. Also, it took way too long for us to be discharged from the hospital. We had all our bags packed and were still waiting for a doctor to meet with us when all we wanted to do was go home after staying here for six nights.

I have been hospitalized many times and I must say that Woodwinds qualifies as a caring place with patient care of the highest quality. My buzzer was answered promptly and I was treated with great respect and care. This is not always the case in hospitals as I have stayed where it consistently took 30 minutes up to a high of 45 min to answer a buzzer. I asked if they were understaffed and the answer was no, why? Thank you Woodwinds!

I have lived in Woodbury for 10 years and have been to Woodwinds several times and it honestly never gets better. I usually don’t write reviews, let alone bad ones. For starters in the past they have been rude and very much so insensitive. They released my boyfriend 2 years ago with a brain injury (let him leave alone) for me only to find him roaming around Woodbury, no idea where he was or why he was there. Today was the first time he and I have been back here since then, we chose to come here because he hasn’t been able to breathe and it’s the closest option to home. He walked in the door, and was talking to the nurse checking him in describing his symptoms and how he wasn’t able to breathe and felt like he was going to pass out, she had the audacity so say to him with attitude “I feel like this is de ja vu”. Why would you say this to someone whom is hurting/suffering coming to an emergency room for help because they are scared. If you need an emergency room, I would go somewhere else. I have never seen medical professionals act so UNPROFESSIONAL.

I use to go to Woodwinds hospital and I will never go there again I would rather go to St Joseph hospital or St John's hospital they were sapost to put it in over six hours and it was in my doctor's orders and they didn't do that they put it in over 4 hours I talked with my doctor and he was very upset what they were doing to me and told me to go to St John's infusion center and I new all the nurse's for years and they told me that I could of had bad sideafex what they were doing
