Wynnewood State Historic Site is one of Tennessee's National Historic Landmarks and preserves a most spectacular early log structure and landscape.
The inn at Wynnewood -- Tennessee's largest surviving log structure at 110 ft long and 22 ft wide -- opened for guests in 1830 and then as a mineral springs resort and residence for the Wynne family until acquisition by the State of Tennessee in 1971. Wynnewood State Historic Site is open during regular hours March 1 through November 30 and by appointment December through February.
