I have been a member for 5 years and have had zero complaints with Xperience until NOW. On Sunday, I was contacted by a personal trainer, Zach, and informed that because it was my birthday month I had earned a free session. (The first time ever in my 5 years). I politely declined and was attempting to explain that I had a very busy month and worked odd hours, when Zach abruptly hung up on me mid sentence. Rude. If that’s the way Xperience employees treat clients then I want no part of this gym. Membership cancelled. YMCA or razor sharp or planet fitness take my money because obviously Xperience doesn’t want it!

Gym and locker rooms are filthy. Mens locker rooms smells terrible. Staff are nowhere to be seen. Nothing like the Xperience Fitness on S. 27th street. 

Gym goers leave weights racked or littered all over. No one ever wipes their sweat off the equipment. 

I'm stuck going here for a little longer, however that will change with my lifting partner gains better emplyment. Then I will happily cancel my membership and join the YMCA in Mt. Pleasant.

Not so great.  FILTHY locker rooms, disorganized weights, lack of cleaning supplies to wipe down equipment, heavily damaged dumbbells, no bumper plates, hard to find lifting collars for barbells.  Much better options out there.

I have the opposite views of cleanliness from some posters. Often the chemicals aren't rinsed all the way off; it ruined my flip-flops, so now it burns my feet. Sometimes people clean right up next to you while you're still changing. 
The music is a big problem for me. Mopey, top 40 junk, played ad nauseum. Virtually nothing high energy, no good beats, nothing to get you motivated. Sometimes creepy. Honestly, pay $9.99 for Pandora's Work Out/Dance/Energy radio and edit from there. Particularly don't need it in the locker room. 
I like that they have child care and the staff is WAY better recently, but they need to expand weekend hours. They never report injuries, especially when one of the caregiver's daughter was responsible for deeply scratching my child (one time that scarred his cheek top to bottom and is still visible 9 months later). 
Often equipment goes weeks without repair. They just did a major overhaul on the pool, which was long overdue. Clocks go months without adjusting to time changes or new batteries. I remember thinking, the pool clock will probably be right again, but then it was wrong immediately after the time change and still is. 
I love the new sauna, but there's no weather stripping under the door, so it gets a draft and the thermostat is way above the level of possible use. 
There is almost no space to stretch or do floor work. You cannot go into the classroom between classes, even if you have the class membership. As a result, there are sometimes lungers in dangerous proximity to machinery, and I often leave without being able to do ab work or stretch.
The layout is bizarre and really wastes space. I think there are many better ways of organizing. I'm hoping that the floor bathrooms they just locked off go to better use. 
Management does not listen. Tony seems to care, but there's never a change.
I don't like being hassled for training.
I don't like icky noises or armpit shirts, but people ignore the signs. Have observed damage to lockers and locks. Someone one time smashed every single locker. 
The annual fee is horrid. It's dishonest and a major impediment to our continued membership. The price, the pool, and childcare is what's keeping us there, for now.

Old dated equipment.
Managed by Tony Yuri doesn’t say much for a modern day fitness center manager when the only modern exercise equipment is compartmentalized in a room which access is not granted unless you sign up for a class.. great way to convert real exercise business Tony Yuri.
I’m  a member at 25 chain fitness centers and travel for a living seeing all kinds.. including experience in Waukesha where I can use the rowing machine kettle bells TRX straps box jumps and ropes without joining a class.
I have watched this gym in Racine Wi fail to be a successful Golds Gym and I would bet it fails to be a successful Experience Fitness.
It’s dated and dirty, no pizazz.  Plenty of room to workout there was Hardly anyone here  @ 6:55 am.
