I've been a pretty loyal FTD flower shopper over the years, but after I spent $175 on my most recent FTD order for their supposed 'luxe collection', for flowers that were 'meh' and literally lasted 3 days, I decided to just find a local place. I was in a time crunch and needed a same day order so I just googled this place and they had good reviews. I placed a same day order online and did not have any expectations to be honest. When my girlfriend received her flowers she was OBSESSED. These were the first flowers that I have ever ordered that were better in person than in the photo. I ordered the "Always a Lady" bouquet and they are absolutely beautiful, not to mention that they smell awesome and were delivered within maybe 2 hours of when I placed the order. Now I realize that I have been ripped off in the past with mediocre flowers that cost $50-75 more! I'm definitely never going to order elsewhere again if I need flowers in the Troy area, and whoever made the bouquet made someone's day who really needed it. Definitely would recommend this place.

This is a GREAT florist! I read good reviews about them and thought I'd give them a try. I wound up speaking to the owner who is 83 years young and she was a sweetheart and very understanding. I let her know that it was important that the flowers I ordered for my wife hold up well for the $$$ I was spending. She called me later in the day to let me know that she ordered in some special roses for the arrangement. They are the BEST ROSES I have ever given to my wife in 26 years. They are fresh, bloomed fully and held up wonderfully! I recommend that you order your flowers fro Ye Olde Flower Barn because they have old fashioned service and ethics!! Wonderful owner!! Thank you!

I spoke with Jan to order a mixed bouquet and was very happy with the flowers that were sent. I was in the floral business for 30 years and I feel the selection and value more than met my expectations.

This is the first time I've stopped into this delightful little flower shop. And I'm so glad I did! The owner is absolutely lovely. They are so nice and kind and helpful. The flowers are gorgeous.
