I ordered flowers from Yelm Florist for my friend's birthday.  I picked Yelm Florist for a few reasons, one being the fact they advertise same day delivery.  Upon placing my order it was confirmed a small arrangement would be delivered that day.  Within an hour or so I received a message stating I could receive fresh direct from the farm roses but not until the next day.  I responded with a comment saying no.  In addition I further commented the flowers were ordered for delivery that day, hence same day delivery.  
The flowers were not delivered that day.  
I'd advise not expecting same day delivery, despite it being advertised, if is important for you to have your loved one to receive the surprise ON THEIR SPECIAL DAY.  
What was I thinking.  SMH

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This company charges an enormous amount of money for a sub-par product. They advertise products online they cannot fulfill. Then, they want you to call them back, but give you the run around with their automated system. Once you finally speak to someone, they try to change your order without even an offer of a discount. I spent over 20mins trying to get a refund. The time and stress I wasted with this company could have been better used purchasing flowers from Safeway. Never again Ava's Flowers. Never again.

My daughter-in-law has loved both bouquets I have ordered from this florist, had a little hiccup on the first delivery but they made it happen. I appreciate the 10.00 promotional discount and I would have given you five stars but the service charge was misleading. But other than that a job well done.

I ordered a the ever Rose basket for my mom. For Mothers day. They did a very good job on it.Just Beautiful. I would highly recommend them. Kim

Ordered a set of flowers, chocolates, and a bear for my wife for her birthday. I needed it delivered because I am currently over 5,000 miles away from home and am missing yet another one of her birthdays. It was already hard enough to get ahold of them back home with the time zone and limited means of communication. I was assured it would be delivered right to our doorstep as a surprise. 

Well, come to find out my wife was told that it wasn't going to be ready until many hours after I was promised, so she had to go pick them up herself. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME. Those flowers were supposed to be delivered on time to our address, no ifs, ands, or buts. That is the only reason why I chose to trust them with the simple task that I could have had a buddy of mine do. 

I don't care that they refunded the delivery charge, let her pick more flowers/chocolate/and a bigger bear, THEY HAD ONE JOB to do AND COULD NOT DELIVER (no pun intended). I would have gone with someone else, and will most certainly never consider them for any further products or services.
