Delicious comfort food for as long as I've been alive.  Don't miss the El Nacho Man, Confederate Fried Steak (now with a more PC name), or if you're hungry the Arkansas Traveler.  Nothing here is going to be fancy or win any awards, but the quality is always great and the location is perfect.

I arrived at Yesterdaya at 11:00pm today (opening time), there were very few customers.  I had 2 Fried Pork Chops, Mac&Cheese, w/Black Beans over Rice.  The Pork Chops were warm and good but the sides Mac&Cheese were greasy and nearly cold, the Black Beans over rice were room temperature.  Having just opened for the day you would think that all of their sides would be freshly cooked and still hot.  These were very clearly some undesirable greasy, scrape the side of an old dish leftovers.  I ate very little of either.  To sum it up, when leaving I informed the waitress and told her "If I had wanted leftovers, I would've gone home for lunch".

My family loves Yesterday's.   They have a HUGE menu, but it's all really good.  From true southern comfort food  (best grits around) to large fresh salads, you can't go wrong.  There are daily specials.  They also have a really good brunch on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  Their coffee is bold and fantastic and there is as a Bloody Mary bar.

The atmosphere is fun and lively. The manager worked harder than anyone assuring all went well. The service was outstanding! Our server, Samantha, was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and never left us waiting for anything. The food was delicious as well. You have to go!

Great food and service! We sat in the restaurant side and it's definitely a step back into 1970 something but quaint and family style. The food was truly homemade. The shrimp and grits were fabulous, great fried chicken and gravy, tasty salad and dressing, and a well stacked club sandwich with chunky fries. We will eat there again and try the bar side next time, too.  My daughter goes to USC and is new to the area so we were wandering around and stumbled into Yesterday's which fits it's name. Loved it!
