York Flowers has been creating extraordinary floral art in Annapolis for over 35 years. Our designers and artists in residence are available to serve all floral occasions with dynamic designs or floral statements.

Got some flowers for my girlfriend today for valentines day tomorrow.  Told them what I'd like to see and a price I'd like to spend, they told me to come back in 15-20 and it'd be ready.  I expected to come back and be at least mildly disappointed since flowers don't do much for me, but I was pleasantly surprised they hit the nail on the head.   I wanted bright flowers with not too much green.  Got an amazing assortment of different colorful flowers and accenting colors that look amazing.  I am impressed.

I was on the way to a wedding at the Naval Academy Chapel when I was asked if I could get a bouquet for the bride to toss during the reception. Said I would try since it was already 430pm and the ceremony started at 5pm sharp. Went to Safeway and they didn't have anything so I googled the closest florist that was open and came across York Flowers. They were closing soon and I ran inside with my husband and told this nice young lady what I needed and that all I was provided was blush and white. I tell you what...I was in and out and back on the road in less than 10 minutes. She handed the flowers to a gentleman who arranged, wrapped and cut them. Price was reasonable and what's funny is that the bride lost it multiple times throughout the reception as she thought it was one of her bridesmaid's bouquets. The people and service was phenomenal. They could've easily been annoyed since it was close to closing time and here I come in a flurry. But they weren't, thanks so much for everything!

I found this place by doing a search for florists near me. What was awesome about this spot was that it was open after noon on a Saturday. Most florists in this part of Annapolis had closed at noon. York was open until 4. The glorious smell of citrusy pine hit me as soon as I walked in the door.  I was greeted by two of the employees. I wish I remembered their names so that I could give them both a personal shoutout because they were so helpful. I told the lady my price range and color scheme and she picked perfect flowers for me. I was able to pick out a nice Papyrus card and the price of everything was right within my budget.  I kept raving about the Christmas tree smell the entire time I was there so the male employee blessed me with a few of the sprigs as a gift. To me that was the icing on the cake. They were very kind and thoughtful; they got to know me while I was there. I was so grateful that I asked if I could give him a hug and he allowed me the opportunity. This was not my best day and my experience here lifted my spirit. It’s the little things...you know. I may just make special trips to this florist for the quality service. The recipient loved the flowers too.
