I really like going to this place. I'm a mechanic as a hobby (and when I have to be), but I always do oil changes and fuel filters at a shop. Just to update the VIN history periodically. This place has friendly staff, and the shop is rather clean and accommodating with popcorn, water, coffee, and clean bathrooms while you wait. The prices are fair, and can get a little better when you use coupons. You must schedule an appointment for any service, including oil changes.

The only thing I wish they would improve was there speed of completing a task. I think they tend to over schedule themselves a little. They say they'll start working on a car in 10 minutes, but it takes more than 30. And it takes a little longer for them to do the actual Service, as well. I think the service guys at the counter have the best intentions, but sometimes they try to do too many things at once. It causes some folks to get frustrated waiting for them to finish writing something down, or get off the phone with a customer.

I would say the place is worth a try, although it may be hard to convince depending on what's important to you. An oil change takes less than 30 minutes, but here it can take at least 2-3 times that. If money is more important to you, then give it a try. If time is more important, then you best look elsewhere.

Jake Hall was awesome. He worked with my boyfriend to get him into a vehicle that would help improve his credit. We liked our experience so much that the next week I decided I wanted to buy a new car from one of his sister dealerships but I wanted to work with Jake. This is not something normally allowed with new vehicles but Jake made it happen and it was an awesome experience. Jake was overall awesome as a salesman and we would 110% go through him again. We would probably we even follow him if he were to go to a different dealership. Also young automotive group includes great extras in their sales. So, in conclusion, young Chevrolet was great, and Jake Hall was awesome! Everyone get a hold of Jake!

STELLAR SERVICE! Just bought another car from Young Chevrolet. Upon arrival at the dealership I was immediately greeted and introduced to the friendly staff.  They were kind to my son and helped keep him entertained while I picked out and test drove many cars. My Salesman Chad went above and beyond to help me find the perfect car! He worked over 2 days and helped me narrow down to the right couple choices before he found the perfect one! During financing, Brad helped get my pricing perfect so that I didn’t walk away with buyers remorse. I am beyond happy with my experience, as always, and I cannot wait to show off my new car! HUGE thanks to Chad Haslam - I highly recommend him and Young Chevrolet group if you’re in the market for a new vehicle!

I bought  a truck back in November of last year. They sold me a rock knock truck. I drove from their lot to Salt Lake City and parked. The next day I tried to start it, it didn’t start. It didn’t turn on and the truck was completely dead. I called a couple of mechanics to take a look and they said the truck dealer place sold you a bad bad truck. I called Ryan the manager he worked it out with me. I towed the truck back to their place with my own expenses. They told me they will refund my money back with a check in the mail. I called and called and still have not yet to receive any check for 4 months now going on to 5 months. They already sold the truck and I still didn’t receive my check(fraud fraud fraud) 03/15/2018. I called again and again but no one will return any of my calls. I can’t believe a multi million dollar company will just rip a customer off. Anyone who buys cars or trucks at the YOUNG Chevrolet in Layton, please be very careful. Read and ask and think very hard before deciding to sign anything with them. My recommendation is to look elsewhere. If this action does not get resolved anytime soon, I will be contacting my friends at the news station to see if they want to do a report  to follow up or if not, I will contact my attorney to resolve this issue. They keep telling to call my bank but my bank said they need to do the refund before they can expedite it. What a shame.

Recently had the pleasure of working with Alfredo Castillo at Young Chevrolet in Layton. He was a fantastic sales person that was only interested in helping us find a car that was the perfect fit. Alfredo was only helpful, never pushy, and had great knowledge of the vehicle and its equipment. He did his best to get us the best deal possible. When we picked the car up it had been completely detailed, the paint chips had been touched up and it even had a full tank of gas!!  We would not hesitate to use Alfredo and Young Chevrolet again for any future car purchases. He exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making this car purchase such a pleasurable experience!
