I recently flew out to Phoenix from here and the experience was...interesting. It was a night flight and thus, there was not many people on it. When we all got screened and waited to board, the guy who was at the boarding counter asked very loudly, "Does anyone need any help boarding the plane?" Nobody said anything and that was probably because we weren't sure exactly what he meant. Help as in with disabilities? Help as in finding out what group we were in? So when nobody said anything, he and another crew member started laughing and just stood there. Someone eventually got up and boarded the plane and then we all followed suit. But the guy who asked that stupid question and was supposed to scan our tickets just made us do it ourselves. I don't know if that's the norm at Yuma, but I've never heard anybody ask if anybody needed help boarding the plane. That should be an automatic, no? And having everyone essentially do it all themselves was very unprofessional--small flight or not. Lastly, whats the deal with only accepting exact change at the baggage claim? I almost had to abandon my luggage because a guy told me that. Fortunately, there was a very helpful lady there who was able to make change for me. I get that the airport is small, but that doesn't mean you should be any less helpful to customers and passengers.

You can show up 15min before boarding and get on your flight with no hassle. Security is fast. Rental cars are available, but don't expect much services. It's a small airport.

The 1st Time I Hit This LZ(Landing Zone), For Non-Military Folks, LOL...My Life Changed Once Again, Which Holds Another Crazy Story.  This Airport Was Very Kind, Efficient, Clean, And 2 The Point.  The Plane Used To Tow Me + Our Luggage Had A Toughness About It; Small But Sturdy...While Moving Through The Skies So Calmly, The Pretty Flight Attendant Remained Polite At All Times.  Hey, Everyone Even Knows Your Name, Well Back Then.
