DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME !!! For this to be a christian based free clinic and a place for people in need to turn to. I got turned away after 2 hours of questions and no exam or test and was very disappointed and I felt like a was actually treated very unchristian like and even insulted. I was visiting from out of state and ran out of asthma medication when i was told to go to the free clinic the initial interview was the usual and I explained that i needed something to hold me over until i could get back home and to my doctor. they seemed nice enough and I was sent back to the waiting room. I was then called in by a nurse to take my weight and height and while taking my weight she made a rude comment that she would try to be nice and kind (HUH! REALLY!) first reg flag then she takes my blood pressure in the room while staring at me very inquisitive to the point that i was uncomfortable and then leaves the room. she comes back and then makes a comment that the doctor will be coming in shortly but did not leave until commenting on the way i looked and was dressed and how well i was pulled together and even wanted to know about the sun viser I was wearing and how did it attach in the back. after awhile instead of the doctor coming into the room the initial intake person and his trainee came back in and said they didn't have the medication i take ad that they would just right a prescription for my medication. I then reminded the intake person that I didn't have my insurance card on me, I'm out of state, and it would cost me about $378.00 to fill my script with my insurance card so without it it would be over close to $600.00 and I didn't have that kind of money on hand and could i please just have something to hold me over. he just handed me the script, I said I don't even know if I can use this out of state without my insurance card and how high my meds would be and he said "I don"t know, good luck " and to go online and get a coupon for assistance. WOW...I actually was going to attend church services here when visiting from out state but now me and my family members will never visit this place for worship if they treat people like this. They showed no love and was not kind and made me feel bad because I was neat and clean. This is why people are turning away from certain churches. By the way I never even got to see a doctor and waisted over two hours of time and was very upset. I would give zero stars but you have to give something. Mind you everyone else got treated and sent home with two large bags of food. I guess if I had an accent and smelled god awful (no pun intended) and cursed my kids out in the waiting room while discussing how much beer I was going to drink at hooters for lunch like the other patients in the waiting room, I would have gotten the help I needed. I left and went outside in 90+ degree temperature and started to have asthma at that very moment. they need to practice what they preach here and show some love.
