The hummus is amazing! That's just what you should get for starters, they often sprinkle some herbs and a bit of spice or paprika over it, too. You'll likely run out if pita first, so just get another for around $2! The portions of the regular dinner plates are very large, and you'll likely have delicious leftovers as a bonus. Their bottled beer selection is pretty good, diverse in its style. A final note: these were the best grape leaves I've ever had by far. Zaytoons is definitely worth at least one meal!

Their sandwiches are great, I've been having them from this location and the Carroll Gardens location for years. Their veggie platter leaves something to be desired, though I'm told the shwarma platter was good. And don't bother with the burger, especially the cheese addition to the fries - it's just slices of cheese melted (barely) on top it the fries.

But definitely get their sandwiches! The fresh bread/pita is fantastic.

Opening the door to this place offers out of the city experience. It's not some fancy and modernly designed place; however it offers some of the best freshly made food. The $11 salad platter is a must. 

Our waiter is a bit busy to take our order luckily we are not very hungry as well. We are regulars to Zaytoons and this location is one we don't regularly visit. It still have the freshly baked bread smell in the end. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food we got. Trying something new is always a good time here. Try their lamb pizza which might be a bit too spicy to some but I think it's the right amount. You can always go for the traditional dishes and you can't go wrong. 

I know they have a backyard however since it's raining on my visit, we are not treated to that. Definitely be back again. They do have a reasonable catering service too. BTW

Their vegetable kabob was pretty good. It got a little soggy though, so I would eat it quickly. I liked how the vegetables were roasted. Not bad.
