The Friends of the Zula B. Wylie Library provides support for programs that promote literacy and lifelong reading.
In a town of 45,000 people, we usually have about 2,000 children and teens alone to sign up for our summer reading program. The Zula B. Wylie Library Friends supports the summer reading program by covering the cost of math, reading, and science teachers, along with many other elements that make this program a huge success each year. Our goal is to promote literacy and lifelong reading by raising funds to cover programs, food, prizes, etc. As a testament to the work we've done, the organization has received the Excellence Award for the tenth consecutive year!
