Similar ambience to Fat Calf Brassiere. They have polite and knowledgeable waiters. The food was tasty and portions were a little small. However, we did not mind at all as we prefer quality over quantity. The quality of the ingredients and presentation of the dishes was exceptional. The chocolate mousse for dessert was divine if that tickles your fancy. They also have an assortment of delicious alcoholic beverages!
Incredible food, great experience! We started with Ceviche and Charbroiled oysters for appetizers both were super tasty specially the oysters. For entrees we got the grilled red snapper and scallops The flavors were unreal, one of the best food experiences we have ever had Highly recommended
One of my favorite restaurants in Shreveport. The food and service is is well done and a good place for celebratory dinners and out of town guests. The menu rotates every couple of months so there’s always something new to try. I’ve been for both dinner and lunch and haven’t been disappointed yet. Pro tip: order the beet appetizers.
Cool vibe…we love that it was open for lunch. The food was well presented on the plate…..absolutely delicious. Great staff. The only thing we would change is having a S&P shaker on the table
Their greens salad, roasted vegetables salad, and beets confit are DELICIOUS! Very fresh and flavorful, not too heavy but portion sizes were great. Usually fine dining places have very small portions for large prices, and this is not the case here. The crab cake had huge chunks of crab meat, the octopus was not overcooked. Highly recommend.
I have been to Zuzul 3 times and I have not been let down yet. The second time the wait on food was a little longer than expected, I was with my nephew who's 9yrs old and once he received his pork chop...he said "this was worth the wait"...Spencer was our server and he was amazing, cool and calm during a storm of orders and chaos. The food has always bn flavorful and the drinks from Paul at the bar are delicious and mixed appropriately. Will definitely be going bk.
We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated just next to the bar area, and I had a wonderful kitchen view my favorite! that allowed me to watch Chef Matt learned this from their Facebook page. Ha. I really wish I remembered our server's name; he was fantastic! He knew that menu like he came up with it himself! Drinks too! Anyway, I had a seasonal cocktail I believe. It was the best cocktail I have ever had. I'm not exaggerating yall! So GOOD. We had the ceviche as an appetizer you can choose your seafood!. I ordered the black and blue salad off the menu and my husband had the soft shell crab with heirloom tomatoes that he hardly got to enjoy because I couldn't resist. If you have never been here...what are you waiting for?! My steak was perfect, as was my husband's crab. The whole meal just felt special. I truly feel that my experience at Zuzul was TOP TIER. This was worth every penny and then some. I saw them announce a new menu soon so I guess I'll just have to go back to try allllll the things!
Very pleased with the meals we had here. Service was amazing. Our server Betty was superb. Very attentive, friendly and has just a wonderful personality. On my next visit to Louisiana, I will be back.
Wonderful food, space, and service. Something for everyone. The space has really transformed since last visit. Patio area is so lovely. Highly recommend for brunch, lunch, and/or dinner. Fish and chips is great, especially for kids. Seafood omelette is excellent!
What a cute restaurant! We found this place by accident and what a great surprise. The ambiance is beautiful and it makes you feel like you’ve transported to a mediterranean destination. I’m big on fish and chips but find that a great spot is hard to come by, even in Shreveport. We started out with the calamari and the cook was fantastic! They were light, crispy and the sauce was fantastic. My hunny had the blackened fish sandwich and I had the fish and chips. Wow! What a meal! The service was excellent, the cook on the fish was perfect and the serving size was huge. This place is comparable with Gordon Ramsay’s fish and chips in Vegas! We’ll definitely be back!
