I used three of your movers: one mover at an apartment complex on SAT 9/30 and two movers on SUN 10/01 to unload a U-Haul from Atlanta at my residence here in GNV .  All three movers were clean-cut, courteous, and physically fit.  I especially appreciate the fact that they didn't waste time and stayed focused on the moving task at hand.  Also, they went beyond to wash off dog crates sitting outside for a year.  Also, want to commend your office staff scheduler.  I had a difficult move to coordinate and she was excellent to make it happen.  I rate your service 5 Star.

I used 2 College Brothers in 2016 to move from a 4300 sq ft home. It was a good experience. The 4 man crew was professional. All furniture was wrapped for maximum protection and I was billed $2,000 which was worth it to me.
I again used them yesterday to move from a 2100 sq ft rental to my new home. It was a terrible experience. The furniture was poorly wrapped, they took a $2,000 mattress and placed it on the truck lift unwrapped and it got filthy. They also completed ripped a mattress cover on another $2,000 mattress. They significantly put deep scratches in 3 areas of wood flooring in the rental. They scratched my baby grand piano and damaged the frame on a huge mirror.

We had them move our 4 bedroom apartment plus storage garage. Unfortunately the person who quoted us vastly underestimated our job compared to one of their direct competitors. Being the "cost-efficient" person I am, I took the bait and chose them over the more accurately priced competitor. In the end, I spent the same amount of time, with a huge amount of frustration getting there over the course of 2 days of moving. The movers that came out, were very nice and professional, but because it was planned wrong from the start, they had no hope of getting it done to my satisfaction.

An amendment to the following review:  Wade Swikle, the owner of 2 College Brothers, called me this afternoon and we had a very civil conversation during which I was assured this is not typical of the way their company works.  What occurred during and subsequent to my move was an aberrant incidence and involved new and relatively new employees who are either no longer working with his company or will be retrained in packing and billing procedures.  We successfully worked out a reimbursement arrangement to cover the over billing and he even split the cost of hiring the second moving company with me.  I appreciate that he took the time to call me and discuss in a courteous manner the way the move had been handled and that he was willing to help remedy the issues. I've elevated them from a zero to a three star review based on this fact.

Original Review:

If I could give zero stars I would.  I've never had a less pleasant experience with a customer representative than I have with these folk.  The person who scheduled my move was insulting to me and wouldn't even let me speak on the phone when I called trying to get information regarding an incident that occurred during the move.  BE VERY WARY of their pricing structure.  I was told they charged $18.00 per box to pack using their boxes and then $387.00 to move (for the first two hours then $129.00 for each additional hour).  They actually charged me per box and per hour even for the time in which they were packing. I assumed (and that's on me for not asking the right question) that the packing fee was separate from the hourly moving fee:  i.e.  they would pack for $18.00 per box THEN move for $387.00 for the first two hours of the actual move).   I hired them to pack and move my belongings to my new home.  My understanding was that they would pack my items, the move my furniture and boxes of possessions.  My move was done very poorly, boxes were not packed, items were just dumped into boxes, they tried to pack and move simultaneously; this does not work well as it turns out.  They arrived with no packing supplies other than film wrap, boxes and blankets and ended up using all my bubble wrap, dish foam, and even paper towels to wrap breakables in the room in which I was working.  I opened one "miscellaneous" box from another room to find my framed diplomas and degrees jammed into one side of the box with no padding and a jumble of paper, a box of printer paper, and my ink jet printer just loose in the box beside them.  I emailed them photos of the box of which I spoke as an example of the job done.  I emailed them with a detailed description of what happened with the move.  Radio silence.  When I called after hearing nothing for a full day I was not allowed to even get a word in edge ways, just told how I didn't know how busy the person to whom I was speaking was and that she couldn't be bothered to even text or email me to tell me that she had driven out to my home the previous day and dropped of the missing items.  Not being psychic, I was unaware of her actions; she didn't even leave a note stuck on the door.

I won't go into what else happened.  It's just safe to say that I do not and would not recommend 2CollegeBrothers to any of my friends or co-workers.  My seemingly simple two bedroom move ended up taking twelve hours and I had to hire a second moving company to complete the move the next day (UF Mover Guys - fabulous and very professional, by the way).

I've used 2 College Brothers on a number of occassions, for both personal and professional assistance.  They always show up on time, are friendly and make the moving experience smooth.  They also have volunteered their time to help us with storage and participate every year in our annual charity event.  Appreciative of their hard work and commitment to making the customer happy.
