Welcome to our Parker-arapahoe club in Aurora, CO. At our health and fitness center, we believe in changing lives through fitness. Our state-of-the-art facility has just about every feature you could wish for in a gym membership. Our club offers a wide range of group exercise classes, personal training and a wealth of other benefits and features. Whether you plan to lose weight, tone-up, or train for a big event, our club offers a wide variety of gym memberships which you can buy online or in-club.

The amount of space is favorable, this location is the largest I've seen after the Ultra Sport in Irvine, CA. Don't expect the member service to be excellent here. I was a bit disappointed with the bathroom stalls. The cycle room is the best I've seen. They offer an outside area with turf and tires which is neat. The indoor track is the best feature in my opinion. They offer many classes and I love the squat rack areas.

I've been going to this gym for nearly two years now, so I believe I'm able to leave an adequate review about this facility. I'm a bodybuilder and have been in the gym for over 8 years now. For being the biggest 24 and generating more income than any of the others, you would think the staff and facility would be on point. Wrong. I'll go ahead and highlight the major issues with this facility;

- While a select few of the staff and trainers are friendly, the vast majority are rude, unapproachable, and unprofessional for various reason I don't have space to type out in this review.

- In addition to the above, the turnover rate for managers, front desk, and almost all staff is incredibly high. Almost every week there is someone new.

- The smoothie area is disgusting. Walk in at any given point and you are likely to see flies buzzing around the food and shakes.

- 100% of the time, a leg extension is either not working, or the extension bar is completely bent and crooked.

- At least 40% of the time, the hot tub is not functioning correctly. This can range from being devoid of water, to the water being lukewarm or cold. It seems like they're always working on it, but it never works correctly.

- All of the cable/fly machines have crooked pin inserts, which in turn makes it very hard to insert the pins into the correct weight. The arms on multiple occasions have collapsed while performing an exercise.

- The stair masters consistently fail, and have problems. I've experienced multiple occasions where I'm on it, and it starts to malfunction or the chain comes off the track which causes all the stairs to instantly fail and fall.

- The swimsuit dryer in the men's locker room has once again, been broken for months on end. In addition to this, there is almost never towels available. 

- The showers in the men's locker room are disgusting and barely work. Its a guessing game as to which side is hot/cold, and the flow is completely hit or miss.

- For about 3-4 months, the leg press literally had nuts, bolts, and ball bearings falling out of it, and was not attended to until it completely failed. To me, this seems extremely dangerous as most members load this particular machine up with a lot of weight.

- Although I don't use them, the smith machines have been broken on numerous occasions for months at a time.

- During the winter and rainy seasons, the roof leaks quite a bit. Sometimes its on the machine you want to use or right on the floor around the machines. 

- In general, you can walk into the gym and find that machines are not maintained, broken, not functioning correctly, out of order, etc.

In summary, I could just continue on down the list of issues with this gym that are never attended to, but the truth is the staff/corporate office doesn't seem to care which in turn sends the message its okay to have failing equipment and a poorly maintained facility. This place is honestly a lawsuit waiting to happen. I personally continue to go here for only a few reasons which happen to be one of the few positive things about the gym, honestly;

- The demographic is very mixed here, but a lot of the members are friendly and helpful, and its easy to make friends.

- The gym itself is actually huge, making it feel like its big and has a lot of space; in particular the very high ceilings.

- The price point.

It's a filthy facility. Good luck trying to get rid of your infections.  This place is nasty. Mold on window seals, roof has been leaking for over a year. No urgency in fixing anything. Last time I went in, 4 of 6 rowing machines were broken.

They will do their very best to manipulate you. Will never buy another membership there ever again.

Some people are just plain stupid.
This place is great they take great care of their equipment and they have an abundance of everything to handle the amount of people coming in. The staff has always been polite, nice, and professional. Yes they do try to up sell on training sessions and other membership items but in weird sort of way that's kind of their job. Also someone posted pictures of towels on the floor in he locker room and water on the floor as well like that's a terrible occurrence. These guys do a great job keeping things clean but they can't possibly have someon wipe water off the floor each time it splashes. And if people just cleaned up after themselves in the first place by throwing their dirty towels in one of the 4 huge bins it wouldn't be a problem. Keep up the great work and don't let stupid people's stupid comments get your day down.
