Been meaning to write this for a while as the move actually happened in 2014! I'm busy. Anyway, they gave us a quote for $1000 (which was significantly below other quotes) we stupidly went with it and, after arriving at our new house, they insisted the charge was now $1800. I insisted on talking to the man who gave the quote (I want to say Chris but could bee wrong) and he said, based on the time, that was the charge and they wouldn't unload the truck if we didn't pay. I even bought them lunch! They are thieves. "Chris came in person to do the estimate. We obviously didn't get a phone estimate. I don't think moving companies do that. Nice try though.

These guys were amazing. I requested a fixed price move to avoid any moving day cost surprises. Thomas was very helpful and reassuring in our conversations pre-move. Carlos and his team were very communicative - they called to say they were on their way so I'd know when to expect them. They plastic wrapped everything to protect it and took great care. Move out day was 50 degrees. Move in day was 9 degrees and snowing. This did not slow them at all. They carried pieces of furniture up 2 flights on their backs and took time to protect the floors from snow and salt. Everything arrived safely except for some reason, the last item that went into the truck which was a white kitchen garbage can that didn't arrive on the other end. They took emptied boxes and plastic wrap to the trash on the way out. Worth every penny. Thanks guys!

I had a very pleasant experience with A Few Good Men Moving & Storage. This was a small business move in my office, in Arlington, VA. I had 3 estimates, and we decided to go with them. From Emily in the office, to the actual movers, everything went exceptionally well! This is a very professionally run company!

Just finished a move with a friend, the guys who came out were fast friendly and professional, but the management was just awful. After chamging the date of the move on us the day before, sent the guys out later than they told us to expect, and then tried to charge extra for moving during rush hour. When it was more to move than management had told the guys, they said management was tellimg them they couldn't finish. After agreeing to pay an additional amount we got most of the big stuff on the truck. Then when they got to the new place we were told we needed to sign a damage waiver and pay in full before management would allow us to take the furniture off the truck. This is extortion and completely illegal. Also this is not a military company even though all thier advertisement claims they are. Don't be fooled. This company is owned by thieves! Response to owner response: I have asked you to call me with no response. I was present for many of the conversations... to say that my experience was false is part of the petty confrontation we experienced throughout. And to provide the personal information you posted in your response about people that are not you or I is unprofessional please remove it!

Yesterday, three men, Carlos, Arthur and Andres, helped move all my furniture and items from two places into my brand new home! They started early and were so timely. In addition, they helped put some of my furniture together for me. They were so nice and efficient. I wouldn't choose any other company to help with a moving process. They are all about the customer and go above and beyond meeting requirements and satisfaction.
