I had approached their booth at an expo they were attending on December 9th. I asked about a ball python pastel they had, he was pretty but looked a bit thin. I shook it off and asked about his feeding habits and his shed. They seemed to dodge answers while the woman was shuffling money in her hands. I took him to the car ride to his cozy new home with top conditions, and he was severely dehydrated. I showed him to his water and he drank so much I thought he would pop. Several attempts to feed him, nothing. His skin was drawn up and he was weak. My snake is now dead, despite that I attempted to reach out to the owners several times. Phone calls, emails, everything. I don’t believe they care about the animals they create. Supplies, great. But I wouldn’t be able to get info on their animals if my life depended on it. It was like he had never eaten a mouse in his life.

An amazing shop with great owners. The owner talked to my Dad for a long time answering all of his questions. With his great advice and mouse selection, my Dumeril’s boa went off of a 7 week feeding strike and ate last night. I’m unsure why there are some bad reviews, but my experience was great and I’ll be returning!

Prices were decent. Most of the tanks needed cleaning. A lot more with poop and urine in them than not. And quite a few snakes in pretty bad partial sheds. Not the best not the worst.

I use to go here all the time for my crickets and once to buy a tarantula.. I’ve read all the reviews on here and yes the crickets will die off if you don’t properly care for them or clean the cage.. It’s normal to have a few die off.. I can see where people are saying the tall guy is rude/not talkative.. there has been times he was like that when I was there but I never took it as rude or being stand offish because his job is not easy between caring for animals, cleaning, shows, inventory, personal life, etc.. I’ve had a few conversations with him and he’s a good guy.. Everhone has had their days where they are exhausted from work or just having a bad day.. Doesn’t mean he’s a bad guy.. I love this store and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
