Story

What began as a feed and coal business has since flourished into a thriving general retail store. During the 1970's focus shifted to include homeowners outdoor needs and family pet products. After a fire in 2001, the actual feed mill was never rebuilt. Instead, the business progressed as a retail center to include garden and landscaping products.

Huge selection of plants and a messy warehouse of items inside. Staffed with friendly and helpful people. I have found many rare plants here BUT be warned that they have a lot of dead/unhealthy plants there. If you are willing to recuperate something then definitely check this place out. The prices are excellent!!! Great cactus/succulent selection usually right out front. Would recommend a visit.

The very best place to go for your plants and supplies with prices no one can beat. Believe me. I have already done the legwork for you. You will NOT find a better deal. And the plants are in excellent condition.

Been a customer for over 40 years. Or at least as long as I can remember. Have watched this place grow and morph into what it is today. Used to talk to the old man and buy my dog food. They have lots of inventory and low prices. Some unique items. Some hard to find. Parking is a headache but you get used to it. Wish the personalities of the workers was better, but I give them the benefit of doubt since they are always so busy. Second cashier could help a lot, but again, you get used to it and learn to chat with other patrons as you wait. Overall: I'm not going anywhere else. I now travel from KY to shop here.

Very crowded today, the Saturday before Mother's day. But the crowd was pushed through the cash registers pretty quickly. Prices are always good. Quality can be suspect if they don't get watered every day.

Went here today for the first time and bought $80 worth of mulch. The guy in charge of handling and distributing the mulch was extremely rude and condescending. Yelled at me in the parking lot full of people for not knowing his procedure. This was the first time and the last time I will ever give this place any money. If this is the customer service they provide I am surprised they have any repeat business. There are too many other garden centers that treat their customers nicely to give this place any of your business.
