Roland and his team do good and efficient work.  Roland came out to help load the truck free of charge and made sure everything was going well.  There was a miscommunication about the fees and Roland was very accommodating in working out a resolution.  His team did the work in a fraction of the time that it would've taken if he had moved ourselves, it was amazing.

We've used A. Mills twice in the past 3 months for moving furniture internally at home, and I cannot brag on them enough - their level of professionalism is beyond reproach, and the owner's ability to keep everyone in a good mood during what can be a tension-filled time is a testament to his can-do-it spirit. I would never use anyone now that I've used them. (Just don't ask me about our experiences with Two Men and a Truck! Meh!)

If you are looking for Fair & Honest Movers that show up on time, do the work fast but carefully and are entertaining all at the same time... Roland and Ken are the movers for you! We see A. Mills Van Lines with our customers at U-Stor-It Carol Stream and the customers rave about them! Keep up the good work guys!

Our move with A Mills Van Lines was a nightmare.  They were so nice in the beginning, but for a 17 hr drive, they gave their drivers no GPS, no map, nothing.  So the drivers depended totally upon us for directions which they had a very difficult time with.  They got lost a couple times after we had given very specific directions.  They were at our home until midnite unloading because they couldn't figure out how to put the beds back together that they had said, "No problem, we do this all the time, it's easy to assemble".  They could not have put it
back together without my husband helping them.  We were exhausted from the long drive, but they said they had to finish because they had to get up at 3 am (and it was now midnite) in order to drive back (a 17 hr drive).  One of the men, Bill, was always belittling Pedro and even bashed Mexicans. I was very disappointed with this company and they also charged more than any other quote we received.  The good I can say, is that only one item received damage in the move and the crew was polite to us.
