Always good food. Slow wait staff. Beautiful murals on the walls. I love the blue cloudy sky painted on the raised ceiling. We had the pork tenderloins with enchiladas, very tasty but one tenderloin was too rare we couldn't eat it. Also tried one of the bacon wrapped shrimp. Yum.

First time trying out this place and it was phenomenal. I had the jalapeno cheese balls and chips & salsa for appetizers then the Monterrey dish with a strawberry margarita, iced tea and chocolate eruption for dessert, I'm so stuffed! The service was good as well. Loved the setting too with the fountain inside, looking like a palace in Mexico. Definitely my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Texas! I recommend everyone try this place out.

It's a really beautiful restaurant, inside and out. The food and the service are very, very good. But the music...... It's music that is appropriate in a South American dance hall at 2am; constant fast tempo. Annoying when you just want a few soft Spanish songs to accompany a beautiful decor and meal; the tempo was always over 110. When I mentioned it to our server, she quickly replied, "It's Pandora and we can't change it." So when I was leaving, walking past the front door greeter, I asked to speak with the Manager. When I explained my opinion to the Manager, she too, immediately replied, "We can't change it" As if I was asking for different paintings on the walls (which are beautiful art!) So I told the Manager, "But what if the music doesn't suit the guests?" She just told me, "Thank you for coming" I smiled and told her, "We can change where we eat. That's what customers can change." So from now on, I will frequent the new "El Ranchito" on Cooper, across from the Rooms To Go. They are the great combination of a beautiful restaurant, great food, great service AND authentic, Spanish music which is sometimes very beautiful. Not high paced, frantic dance music making you nervous in 40 minutes.

Great service and atmosphere. This local treat has excellent food and an extensive menu. Our server told us the name means "Granddad's" and is an homage to the founder's own grandfather and his generosity and kindness. You know it's going to be good when you walk in the front door and see the statue of Francis of Assisi. Even though this is a local place, the decor is as elaborate and well done as the interior of a Cheesecake Factory.

Our family loves this place and we go here often. The salsa and queso are both good - usually it seems like restaurants are good only at one or the other. I usually get some form of enchilada, though the stuffed medallions or burrito make it a tough call. The atmosphere is nice around the fountain and very tall ceilings. The waitstaff are professionals (though oddly prone to broken dishes, it seems like) who have been unfailingly attentive and friendly. It would be nice if their loyalty program was more robust - it seems like more of a way too get your email address to push information to than a true rewards program. Overall, one of my favorite places to eat in Arlington.
