On New Years day, my 10 month old Australian Shepherd got something stuck in his leg that caused it to become infected. I took him to Advanced Animal Care because I heard great things about them. They looked at his leg and put him on his first dose of antibiotics for 10 days with hopes that it would clear up. 10 days passed and nothing happened. They then recommended surgery so that they could go in and remove whatever was irritating his leg. After surgery they showed me a piece of grass that was no more than 2 cm long and said "they thoroughly explored everywhere to make sure all foreign objects were removed". They put him on ANOTHER type of antibiotic for 10 days and bandaged his leg up once again. After about 5 days of his second round of antibiotics, his leg started to smell weird so I removed the bandage myself only to find that his sutures were infected and his leg looked much worse than before surgery. At this point, all 4 vets from Advanced Animal Care had looked at him and were confused as to why he wasn't healing. They then recommended yet another surgery. I questioned why they would do another surgery if they were thorough the first time and they refused to answer my question. Not only did they want to do surgery, but they also wanted to do a biopsy on his leg that would cost $300+. At the end of our visit, they decided to "try" out an extremely strong antibiotic first and referred to it as being "the big gun" and that if any antibiotic was going to kill his infection, it would be this one. He was on it for 5 days and there was no improvement. This situation had been going on for about 6 weeks. I told them that I wasn't willing to continue pumping my puppy with antibiotics that weren't helping him. So, I started soaking his leg myself, and cleaning it with iodine multiple times a day. 2 weeks after taking matters into my own hands, I was cleaning his leg and noticed there was a hard pimple. I popped it and out came 6 inches of grass. I have never been so disappointed in a vet until today. All of this could have been avoided had they done a thorough surgery. I am no vet and today I did their job for them. Unnecessary measures were done, and hundreds of dollars were spent that could have been avoided weeks ago.

I love this place. I love my vet Dr deramus and all the girls that work there. they are very caring to my little dog Cinnamon who is my baby and I'm very protective of. I love the fact that they submit my bills to my insurance without my asking them. I'm not used to that and it sure does help. They have called and asked about her I don't know how many times. I feel that the care for her is genuine and not about the money at all. I honestly wouldn't take her anywhere else.

I have had the pleasure of seeing the professionals at this vet clinic and have not been disappointed. From the staff at the front desk to the techs and physicians I felt that my dogs and i were very cared for. I feel like the exams and feedback were thorough. This is something I really observe for, as i am a nurse and I have high standards for medical care for my family and pets. I would highly recommend anyone to take their pet to this clinic for wellness checks or any medical issues.

Always receive the best care for our dogs! Every veterinarian they see remembers them and are very attentive. They reach out to personally to check on them after a visit, which is so nice! Great techs helping out, wonderful facility. Their daycare is also top-notch, with swimming available for those water dogs!

I cannot give enough praise to the people at Advanced Animal Care. They get it that our pets are our babes and we have to make decisions for them because they cannot. The vet I recently dealt with in determining whether or not to put my Bandit down was so compassionate and explained all of my options. Thank God that we have people in this world that are so devoted to the care of their patients. Thank you for your help and God bless you all real good.
